How many Canadians on this board are caught in the unfortunate build weeks window +/- 40 to 47? Obviously the completion of our cars have been deprioritized by BMW in favor of maintaining regular production and finishing cars at larger by volume VPCs elsewhere in the world.
Here are my details: Deposit: May 5th, 2021 Order with factory: July 8th, 2021 Build date: Oct 7th, 2021 Held for: RAM (approx Oct 14, 2021) Model: 22 M3X Comp Current location: Bremerhaven Destination: GTA I don't think any of us want to jump the line, we just want to be added to it and not be continuously passed over. |

What a mess. I'm still waiting for an allocation. Hopefully it comes before 2025.

My build date was mid september. It sat in QC from mid sept to around the second week of november where it was sent to the port and still resides.
Like I've posted elsewhere, I got tired of the wait and cancelled my order purchased a stop-gap vehicle to be my daily driver and instead plan to purchase a "fun car" when supply chain issues stabilize in the future. Order date: July 20 Build completed: Sept 15 At port (193): Nov 15 Expected Delivery: Dec 2. SA checked numerous times and was never given any other info than that Order cancelled: Dec 20 out of curiousity I just checked the recall tool and the RAM status is still open nearly 2 months after expected delivery https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app/...43AZ01NCJ02682 |

Hey all,
In the same boat: Ordered: July 5th, 2021 (I figured stating the year is relevant) Build Week: 46 Completed: Roughly Dec 6 Do you guys know if our vehicles are stored outside or inside or if they have the body covers on? Also I hope they don't treat the cars like dealers treat inventory getting kids to clean off the snow with those shitty styro snow brushes. I'm worried on how the car is gonna show up. I'm spending a lot of money for PPF it would suck if there was surface scratches on the paint. |

Build week 45 here and RAM stop sale since 3rd week of November.
I've been skimming through weeks 1-3 threads and it looks like these cars are moving much faster to ship, and arriving in the next days/weeks (dubzz24). How ironic... |

This is complete BS. If it was not Winter here, I would of moved on to something else.
Been stuck at Bremerhaven with the Ram Module work order since first week of December. Updates are much appreciated. Hopefully if someone here starts moving, we all will. |

Excuse my confusion here, but the more I read the more I realize : Are US bound cars fixed on US soil, while Canada bound cars are fixed in Germany? I'm thinking that could explain the faster shipping of week 1-3 cars?

As stated in post #1 week 40-47 production was affected by the RAM shortage. Some (not all) US cars were shipped without RAM installed to have it corrected at port in the US. Week 48 and later had RAMs installed when built. Current production was prioritized over retrofitting.

I got tired of waiting and came across a 2022 Lexus IS500 Launch Edition that I couldn't say no to. Still have my M3CX order open but I really don't care when it arrives anymore. It will be my 3rd BMW and it's most certainly not a charm. The experience has turned me off of the brand based on their inability to understand a simple concept of first in, first out. May the odds be ever in our favour for the BMW Hunger Games!

No longer waiting! Car arrived at the dealer this morning and I pick her up Monday, ahead of schedule. Unfortunately laser lights were deleted due to parts availability, but I think it’s worth it to get the car early. |

Bummer on the Laser Lights. You guys are getting the short end of the stick, in Canada. It's not like you guys are in Australia, or something.
I ordered my car on July 14th. Dravit Gray, every option, except Carbon Buckets, and I took delivery on October 19th. I thought CCBs or the park assist was going to push my car back, but after seeing everyone else's wait times, I got lucky. My car did sit at the Port in Southern California, for RAM, for 8 days, but still got here in a decent amount of time. The car is worth the wait, guys.

CONGRATS! Looks awesome. We'll have to get the cars together sometime, maybe next BMW club drive.

I have been talking to dealer regarding laser headlight deletion, notice you mention you get the car early by accepting that, can you advise what did the dealer tell you about that. Appreciate it! |

What I meant by that is I’d rather get the car with no laser lights than have my production bumped back until they become available. I didn’t actually get a choice, and I only found out about it yesterday when my advisor sent me the final build sheet. It was a surprise to him too, although he probably could have found out earlier.

I’m really surprised too, 4.5 months from order to delivery on the west coast, especially considering it’s an individual colour too. |
