No that is like a best case delivery with no stop sales / QC issues. From posts here, your car could easily be stuck for months after its built

Usually one of the last 2 weeks of the month. There have been exceptions though

If you look around, some vehicles are sitting in QC even for more than 3 months after production without a ECD.

You would be really lucky if this timeline works.

Yep, I am Priority 1 (Customer Sold)...I am wondering if it's a setting in Chrome I need to change, but am not sure what it could be.

Congrats! Do you mind sharing what dealer you're working with? I've been on a waitlist at North Scottsdale and Arrowhead for a couple months now with not much progress

so since my local dealer didn't have any allocations I ended up calling every dealer in Texas and found an allocation.

If anyone is looking for an M4 Allocation in Texas I may have a lead.

I know probably not as much of a surprise since I'm going with a G83. But I'm still hella excited. No schedule date yet.

I was number 1 on my dealer's wait list (high volume in MA) when I placed my G83 order a month after you so hopefully that means I will get my production number in February.

Hmmm…I was told by some members here that I should’ve gotten a prod # as soon as my allocation was given to me and I placed my order/given deposit. So I’m as worried when my SA told me my prod # will be given in a couple weeks. So good to see that others like you also had to wait for a prod #. Guess I can stop worrying?

Basically what they're saying is true. If you don't get a production number upon placing your ordered spec with the dealer then they don't have an allocation available at the time. I knew this going in and didn't expect to receive an allocation for at least 2 months or so, so imagine my surprise when I got one today. The wait particularly for the G80 is significantly longer at practically every dealership because the demand is much higher and historically the allocations for G80s have been fewer. My best advice is that if you have a good dealer that your comfortable with and don't want to pay a markup/go out of state just wait it out at your current dealer. Now I am going out of state for mine but it's a short (<2hr) drive from my house.

Hmmm. Ok. I see. I was told point blank on Monday night that they got their M3 allocation and it was going to me since I am the only one on their waitlist (been on the list for about a week). He’s been off last two days and is supposed to look into my prod # when he’s back tomorrow. We’ll see. He did show me my order in their system with a 4/15 delivery date (doubtful since I’m ordering individual paint but he hasn’t requested that yet).

It would take a minute from your SA to log into the system and give you the production number. SAs in general might just overlook as a typical buyer wouldnt be aware of the details.

Are you sure that your build is scheduled in june. Most allocations from this month have march build date.

Whoops I for some reason thought this was a general allocation update thread for the month of January, not cars with allocations in Jan. As you can see i'm a little bit excited since my dealership just gave me my production number, albeit with a build date a little bit further out.
