Does that plate mount mess with any of the sensors?
No, they give some guidance on where to position it to avoid that.

I don't have the laser lights so I dont know. So far no issues or false alerts. It just takes longer for the V1 to shut down unlike on my M2C

It looks awesome with that tint! It really does make a huge difference. What tint did you go with? And did you do full PPF?
Thanks. Tint is one notch above the limo tint according to Xpel. It's about as dark as you can go without black out. PPF is full front, side rocker panels, side mirrors, roof, door cups, trunk luggage area, and just behind each wheel well.

I let someone else drive my car yesterday. First time I've had a car for 2 and a half months without a 3 or 4 friends driving it. I have a limited number of manual-proficient friends in the area at this point, and my group of friends and I are just now hitting fully-vaccinated status (so we had a small gathering for pizza and board games to celebrate...we are geeks).

My friend has some experience with higher-powered cars and also dailies a manual, modified '18 Mini Cooper S (his high-powered cars are mostly older...he has a modified '69 Mustang that dynos at near 500HP, if I recall correctly) and could not stop gushing about how much fun he had on the drive. I took him through my local loop of fun curves and good straights. A fine time was had, which is all any can ask for. Cars are so much more fun when you can experience them with other folk.

some of you saw my thread where I did the straight pipe to replace both resonators... here is a much more indicative video of the sound gains vs the parked high revs which delivered rasp over 7k rpms:

Oof that sounds good. That's with just the resonators gone, right?

Also - was that car cold-started right before this video begins? Or is that the normal idle with the resonators gone?

Yes sir just the resonators out and the car had been sitting for about 1 hour (before that it was driven for 30 min or so) so it really was not cold.

So I would say thats normal idle for sure.

I was thinking 12/10 spacers as well. Looks like a perfect fitment. Thanks for the pics.

100% agree! Sharing the car passion amongst friends is incredible.

And a little black ppf on the lip to try and give the car a bit of a chin and provide a fang effect

Nice, I've been looking for someone to start experimenting with changing that lower chin just a little bit in the absence of the front splitter. That strip of PPF looks nice (and again, seeing the carbon inlets makes me so glad I added those to my build)

Please let some type of lowering be your next mod. That pic from the front at ground level is just, WOW!! looks like you can run over a cinder block and not touch that front lip

I can get into my drive way without scraping while driving almost head on. Pulling out of a driveway while visiting friends and crunch

Tinted the Windows, 20% 3M Ceramic all around (front window = nothing), with out the park assist surround view this would be way to dark at night, still a bit nervous.

Also tired to get fancy with the sun setting.
