I'm going on record with a 75% accuracy rating. Traditionally the Bimmerpost renders that emerge close to release have been pretty close to the production model. I'm waiting for Scott26 to weigh in.

Front engine to mid engine is crazy radical for performance. The corvette design is well liked so why change.

I wonder if BMW is thinking like, "Well. They said we aren't changing our cars enough. How about let's flip that on its head!"

My cousin who moved from BMW E46 M3 loving to Porsche said the new G chassis cars look far too much like a Lexus. Although if you think about it, considering how Lexus are to the regular folks, that isn't a bad thing per say. We (enthusiasts) just... don't like change.

Every brand's cars had radically different styling in 1939. Doesn't mean it will work today.
