Headed to the track and have some questions about M Mode

Hi, next weekend we are taking the new M4 to Sebring International.

Wondering do you just press the M1/M2 button to engage the necessary modes to drive on the track once setup? Also the M Mode button near the exhaust valve button to change the display only?

Super complicated and confusing as we just want to run the car with traction on and assists for the wife and I don't see anything in the manual which says "Just Drive" LOL.

Watch this

Don't press anything if you want to keep traction on. You literally can just get in an drive.

If you press the M button you can go in to the settings and customize M1/M2. You hold down the M1 button to save the settings for M1, same for M2.

So you can have the engine and dampers in sport, sport plus etc

It sounds like you don't need need to mess with too many settings for this outing but if you want some level of slip before the car intervenes and cuts power etc you could try MDM mode once you've gotten comfortable with the car

I'd put the engine and suspension in sport and leave TC on initially
