Like brand new. No issues whatsoever, brought in for "break in service".

Main features -

Interior and exterior carbon fiber
Driver assistance
Parking package
Executive package
Shadow line lights, regular LED
red brake calipers
Black interior
Now why would I pay you that much when I can still get the car below MSRP in Southern California.
You actually can't find anything at msrp in California right now. You can maybe find and allocation at msrp. Before you tell me you can. Please make sure there's a car at the lot that you're claiming is Msrp so I can call and verify. In California it's almost impossible. With that said I wouldn't pay 99 for this.
It all depends on your relationship with a big dealership. I have purchased few cars and I can get an allocation below MSRP, but I will circle back when the LCI is out next year and choose between the new M2 or M3.
Yes sure, in the past maybe. Like prior to the G80s yea.

Its pretty obvious that yours is an one off situation. Its almost impossible for anyone to walk into a CA dealership and get a below MSRP deal. So its not relevant to most people here.

I got mine from there also. It's at the port. It's possible yes, circumstances have to almost be perfect… but this guy is saying he can get it at msrp whenever he wants to. Like the inventory is what it use to be

Well like I said Penske automotive group of dealers have a policy. You can also get it from SD at MSRP or pay $100k to the OP.

If you want below then you need connections/relations with the dealer.

Crevier is also a Penske dealer and I paid 1k over MSRP. They started from 15k over MSRP and we ended up agreeing on 1k over MSRP.

Maybe you should have brought up the pricing policy. Was your sales guy aware of it?
In SD they don't charge over MSRP.
I had the worst experience with Crevier when I was shopping for my M2C in 2018. They were asking $20K over MSRP. I told them to screw off and got mine from SD.

It's OK you can just wait until they raise the sticker price and you will end up paying the same or more. Inflation sucks and input prices aren't going down.

To be honest I did all of my research on what to order but was not prepared for the shit they pulled. I'm OK with it but did learn a lot about the buying process. This car was the first car I ever ordered and with that sticker price. I've had good experience with Crevier back in 08 but apparently they have flipped the script on their ways since then.

So you are basing this off of 2018 pricing?

Do you think that the GM and sales managers of the dealership aren't aware of a corporate pricing policy? This may have been a policy in the past, but it is no longer valid. Penske absolutely charges over MSRP on a regular basis for cars that are available now on the floor..

Yes, you can get MSRP on an allocation and be lucky to get a car in 6 months. Have you tried to buy an M3/M4 that was on the floor of a dealership recently? I have and I could have spent hours/days negotiating on one of the four cars that was in stock within 300 miles of San Diego. I called on everything that showed and most were already sold. Those that weren't they were starting at $10K over and some $15K. Then spent 4 hours driving back and forth to the dealer to pick it up. Overall let's say I spend 10 hours doing all of this garbage. In that same 10 hours I could have spent time working or with my family. On an hourly rate that is a losing proposition vs paying $2K in markup locally. If $2K means that much to you buying an $85K BMW is probably not a great financial decision. I am not into wasting money, but the market is what it is right now.

I’m paying 10k over is socal. Y’all obviously haven’t tried to buy this car if you think you can walk into any dealer and do so at msrp. I called 25-30 dealers all over the country before I found an allocation that wasn’t spoken for and happily agreed to 10 over. We’ll see if there’s any room for negotiation when it comes in but for now I’m just happy to have an allocation.

Wasn’t meant to cause An argument
Fact of the matter is that this car is over sticker in 9.5/10 dealers in California… that’s if they even have it in stock.
I called EVERY SINGLE dealer in California and Nevada. No one had an x drive in stock besides McKenna who wanted 25k over and I spent days with them back and forth. Probably 15-20 if I went in.

The dealer I purchased settled on a smaller market adjustment but they had 2 of the 3 available x drives in California and Nevada.. so yea maybe if every dealer had a stock and no clientele waiting then yea MSRP is possible.. if you want the car tomorrow, next week, this month or next? MSRP or under 5k over is probably impossible if you can even LOCATE A car which seems harder then even negotiating..

Anyways if anyone’s interested, I’m open to offers

I don't buy M cars and highly prefer to order them! I can wait for 6 months.

Multiple members have got their cars at MSRP with some incentive in SD.

Some of us can wait or have connections. What I'm trying to say is that it's possible to get it at MSRP. No need to over analyze.

These days nothing is normal. People have been way overpaying for houses the last 18 months. All that stimulus money that went in and out of the 90% bank accounts within a week ended up in the 10% investment portfolio and then some. There is tons of $ out there with no where to go.

Shhh. He has connections.

In fact they are holding a custom ordered car just for him, in case he decides he's ready.
