Spacer for Down pipes

Which is a better option to get rid of the CEL with the high flow catted down pipes, big daddy mini cats or CTS O2 spacer?

Just a small spacer (not the mini cat) has worked for me on N55/B58 with 200 cell cats. Mini cats most of the time give you codes like slow response sensor 2 in my experience.

We have used the Mini cats with success. I have a set coming for my shop car Monday for when I putnon my MAD Fat Boy DPs!

You might still get a CEL for a few hundred miles but should clear.

The mini cats are built into the spacers. You can also just get the spacers without the mini cats.

I used the big daddies mini cats. The straight ones. 5000+ miles and no check engine light with catless downpipes. I am now tuned via BM3 so that is no longer relevant. But no engine light.

This is what i've used, they are available on many different sites.

M18 X 1.5 Bung 32mm O2 Oxygen Sensor Test Pipe Extension Extender Adapter Spacer Generic

The mini cat version for the record may work for some but it's never worked for me, tried twice and both gave me slow response codes and to that point, a larger spacer did the same thing.

Interesting point that should have merit. I have seen this code before. If I had race cats I think I'd lean towards the spacers over the min-cats for this reason. More in this case may not be better.

Originally installed my 200 cell DPs w the minicats, was getting delayed rich/lean CEL. You can tune the CEL out, but just bothered me that the car didn't have the reliable secondary sensor. Swapped the minicats for just the spacer.

Edit: CEL w the spacers also, just have the sensors mounted directly to the DP.
