I’ll definitely keep it updated. With some research, it seems I was right AND wrong. It IS headed to Spartanburg…but that’s because the VPC is there. So she will get fixed at the factory, basically.

If true, that gives me reason to hope our cars won’t have to wait quite as long for delivery. I’ve been assuming a couple weeks at the Charleston port (optimistically) to get the RAM installed, then a couple more weeks’ lead time for scheduling a delivery date with the Performance Center. Keep us posted please about how your experience is, timing-wise, to help shape expectations for those of us following in your footsteps. |

I called again this morning. No good news. Still waiting on the RAM. The rep said it shows no parts available.

I was encouraged the other week with the hit of RAM chips going through Baltimore and CA ports, although it seems maybe Charleston didn't get any? Yours got in on the 9th correct?

Yes. My car arrived in Charleston on 10/9 and arrived at the VPC at the Greenville / Spartanburg plant on 10/14 where it has been sitting in a parking lot ever since.

Well at least only 4 days so far. I did see some others getting RAM fixed in 3 days in Cali. It would seem odd for other VPCs to get PCD and not Charleston. Are you sure there are no parts?

posted this in another thread for my build week. thought I would post here too.
been watching Hawaiian Highway and not sure I understand the route its taking. Baltimore -->Brunswick --> Jacksonville ... Is Charleston the last stop so they can pick up the most cars and drop off mine? I watched the boat sail right past Charleston and it got me worried.

Makes sense, since there are so many BMW SAVs to export to Europe, not to mention Mercedes SUVs from Alabama and Volvo SUVs also from South Carolina. Why not empty the ship of European vehicles, before loading up with American-built trucks?

#sweatergawd....i had a dream, last night/this morning, that one of the stop sales was closed. got up...went downstairs and took a ride on the Peloton...showered, got on the computer and....nothing. RAM and camera still pending.
hahahahaha. seriously, tho...i DID have the dream and, miraculously, the RAM is done. just waiting on the camera, now. which kinda pisses me off because the parking assist option wasnt even on the build sheet on the early '22 cars but my CA told us about it. if he hadnt done so...and we hadnt opted for it...we'd be scheduling PCD, today. |

Genius just told me my car is at PCD with no stop sales. They recommended I call my SA to have him call the PCD to expedite scheduling pick up.
Can anyone else confirm other cars at the Spartanburg VPC are making progress? I'm not sure I believe until I get a date for PCD. |
