So, my Week 40 brothers...how many of you hear the Genius hold music in your head even when not waiting for them?

How is everyone getting on?

I am still at port (since Friday last week), with no stop sales/enhancements showing on the recall checker.

Next UK bound ship from Cuxhaven port leaves Wednesday morning (AUTO ENERGY). I should make it on that one but let's see

Genius is advising delivery week commencing November 1st.

10 days now hanging out at the factory wainting to go to the port. It will get here when it gets here, but I would love if it got moving.

Mine too. I just switched over to dispatched from factory within the last couple of hours.

Edit- Never mind. I just called the genius to confirm location, and my car is now officially tagged with a stop sale. Here's to more waiting.

A lot of cars produced have the RAM enhancement…. That’s what mine has…the word on the street is they are now getting fixed at VPC faster than before (about a week)

I don’t even know what week I belong to anymore started at week 35 bumped 5 times to 40 - now my car has been in QC since 10/7 - still there as of this morning I was really expecting it to change after the weekend

Awaiting a carrier but was told today there is as too sale on receiver audio module? Anyone know what this is??

A stop sale. You can read about it extensively in the thread elsewhere in this category. Basically, due to semiconductor shortage, harmon cardon is behind on delivering radios to complete BMWs which have them (as ours do, as standard). It will be retrofitted at the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) at the port when the car arrives Stateside. Delays have varied wildly but lately is 1-2 weeks (if no other recalls or stop sales apply).

Changed to In Transit this morning after about 2 weeks in port. It still shows the RAM technical enhancement so who knows what it all means.

No clue nobody seems to know. I certainly hope so. Would wonder why they’d do that for mine though when most others seem to be getting shipped with ram install at port. Genius says to call SA , SA says he sees no stop sales but the search tool shows my car has the retrofitting ram notice.

Car is now status 195 - In transit!

It has been loaded onto the AUTO ENERGY vessel due to leave for the UK in a couple of hours.

If all goes well I should be collecting my car tail end of next week

Ha just called genius she said it’s normal for cars to be in QC for 3-4 weeks . Suggested calling back in 2-3 weeks from now if status hasn’t changed

My hypothesis is that they are spacing out the cars so they don't have vehicles just pile up at the port in the United States.

I believe I'm in this group also. My car was completed on October 6th according to VIN. It's currently on the Garnet Leader ship on it's way to the Panama Canal. After that it should arrive in California around mid November.

It's a 22 M4 Xdrive in dravit grey with black interior. Extended leather and black carbon buckets.
