I just got a production number and confirmed build week, today. Not a very fancy spec but its what she wanted. This will be my wife's 3rd M4 ('16, '19 and now '22). All have been pretty similar...

Moonroof (the reason we've had to order each of the previous 2)

Executive Package
Parking Assist
825 Orbit Grey wheels
Red calipers
Laserlight LED lights
Shadowline lights (whatever that means)

Cant wait to pick it up in Greenville so all of the side-eyeing she's been giving me can stop. Anyone else getting theirs built the first week in September?

I originally ordered on 7/5, decide to go individual on 7/8 and got pushed to week 36.

Also in for Week 36...seems so far away. Although I called up the geniuses and they said there is a request for Week 34, although the lady said about 5 times that the week is always subject to change.

First BMW since my E36 325i. Can't wait.

Just switched my order to BSM from skyscraper grey. i saw the BSM in person and while i think i will like skyscraper grey, not seeing it in person is making me nervous.

i think I'll be happy the two hours after the car has been cleaned and then sad the rest of the time.

welp...got this message in my 'garage this morning. called Genius to confirm the week and we've been moved to 35. i'm gonna miss the camaraderie that we've built in this production week thread. and...while i'm happy to be in week 35....i will ALWAYS be a Week 36'er!!! FOR LIFE!!!

TCBavarian put me in touch with his CA on Monday of last week. He had an open allocation. By Tuesday, I had a production number and he said that it was for Week 36 (hence the reason for this thread). But every time I called Genius....they said that it was estimated for Week 35. Today, when it went to Scheduled for Production, they confirmed it.

This has been a long ass journey. Glad to start seeing light at the end of the tunnel...

Ignore above . Called back and was told SOP wk 36. Not sure why the first woman got it wrong , she must be new - had a brief moment of elation before I realized it wasn’t possible.

well in the sticky thread, it says your build week is the week it's estimated to finish production.

I’ve seen the term 100s of times I don’t know what “sticky thread” refers to - I’m confused “build week” is when it’s supposed to finish production? I always thought that meant when it starts production.
