Still shows OPEN for RAM.
My car is at the NJ port too, since last friday. I wish i can pick up my car from the dealer this week, or even next? |

I just called Genius, my cars RAM stop sale has been cleared and is released to a carrier for delivery in the next few days, I confirmed this with my sales person, so fingers crossed everyone gets theirs released too!!

I spoke with genius and they said a lot of the RAM stop sales are being resolved this week.
When i asked my SA given what genius told me, he said definitely i'm driving the car home before thanksgiving. He said if the RAM gets resolved this week, i can pick up the car next weekend. So i'm crossing fingers on that! |

Curious since you have been helping folks with this. My CA says I have a stop sale on my car for RAM, but neither of the two tools pick this up. And genius states they can't see anything but you need to contact you CA. Do some VINs just not report for some reason with these tools?

I know this has already been talked about but I can’t find where.
Once our cars get to the port in Baltimore, do they have to go back “in transit” to the VPC? Or is the Baltimore VPC at the port? My cars been “at the port” in Baltimore for about a week now and I’m not sure if I should see it “in transit” again or not before my ram stop sale gets resolved. |

My understanding is that the port on the US side is the VDC, thus there's no additional "Transit" step to the VDC. Based on this article, it looks like the port and the vehicle distribution center are one and the same: https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/usa/a...language=en_US
My car has been in Baltimore for just under a week ("At the Port") waiting for the RAM issue to be resolved also. |

To add confusion, some of us stuck in QC for multiple weeks were made to believe some of the RAM installs were being done at the factory...my car is at the port (Germany) now, but the RAM still shows open on the recall details tool. Not sure what, if anything that means.

It would be great if we could at least know if they even have parts available at the port. Some sort of timeline would be nice to have as opposed to just waiting around lol

My car arrived at Baltimore VDC 10/21 and is on a RAM Stop Sale. I just got off with Genius and they said the work order has been open since 10/26. It doesn't sound like they have parts, as she mentioned a status of "Parts Ordered" somewhere she could see. Doesn't help with timeline, but hopefully adds a little more info.
