Just some more info sharing from my SA/Genius:

I'm build week 25, my M3C got off the Precious Ace ship in NJ/NY last Friday the 9th. I called Genius and they said it needed a module, but shouldn't effect delivery date to my NH dealer this coming Thursday the 15th. Figured I'd check in with my SA so texted him this morning, he told me, "Looks like there is a Stop Sale on it for Retrofit cameras that is being fixed at the port. We are not sure if this is going to delay the arrival. I will keep you up to date when I get a better idea from my shop foreman."

If mine is still at the port on 7/31 i am going to cancel.

I made too many concessions on this car (dealer specd) in addition to waiting when i could just order a MY22 to my own spec and keep the M2 in the meantime.

BMW genius told me arrival is the 15th but stop sale hasn't been lifted? My sales guy said he don't know why bmw genius told me that they can't release the car until the issue is resolved:

I'm in the same situation just backwards; my SA doesn't know when delivery is but Genius said stop sale shouldn't effect my delivery to dealer date of the 15th.

How long after the ship arrived at the port did you guys find out about the stop sale? Still nothing for mine. Hope it stays that way!

My CA just informed me that my 2022 G80 AWD, which is at the German Port for 3 days now, has a Stop Sale that says "VDC campaign retrofit cameras". Weird thing is that Genius last week said there's no Stop Sale on my car

I had to find out by asking. When I knew my ship was at port here in the US, I called genius to make sure and ask for expected delivery date. They said it needed a module but should be delivered to NH on the 15th…this Thursday.

So I called my SA this morning, and he informed me if the stop sale, and didn't know anything more than that, other than it's camera related.

Just my experience, YMMV

My delivery date is the same but genius said the computer just generated a delivery date and they won't deliver the car until the stop sale is fixed. So I'm not getting my hopes up

A little over 3 weeks at the CA processing center, my car is in transit to Hawaii. I'll call later to see if the stop sale is still applicable to my car. It's take about another week for the ship to get here.

day 22 at Bremerhaven. Still no updates genius says they do not see any movement not even a work order for my M3.... I am week 25. This sucks that 22 models will probably be delivered before mine.

I called Genius and they said work was completed at processing center and my car is in route to dealership. I asked to clarify Stop Sale and they said being that the issue was resolved, I'll be able to take delivery once car is at dealership. However, my CA that's there stop sale is still active on their end. So IDK

Thinking the same thing. If mine doesn’t get delivered before long I will keep the M2 a little longer and then get a p-car.

That is utter BS! Not sure where you are located, but, I'm build week 25. My car is already at the NJ/NY VPC, has the camera stop sale, but has a work order. Doesn't mean I'll get it fixed and delivered to me in NH anytime soon (was supposed to take delivery today), but if I was still in Bremerhaven I'd be livid. BMW's fault or not, the point people are making here about model year 2022 are completely valid. I've been waiting nowhere near that long and im already sick of it…feel for you!

I wish I knew. All I know is that they said it did have a work order, but didn't have the means to fix it. I think it means when they do have the part (camera, I assume) I'll get fixed because I do have a work order.

For what it's worth, every time I've called Genius, they've said to feel free to call back more than daily if I feel the need, because it could change and be done at any time. Today, whether it was just the individual I spoke with or not, she said I should call back next week for an update.

I'm going to call again tomorrow afternoon EDT like I've been doing and see if I can learn more if the update is the same...seems like it's lottery who you speak with whether or not they will share worthwhile info, or just be pleasant and tell me it's just still stop-saled...as all Genius folks have told me about the stop-sale, but some of said just due to a module, while others have specifically said it was due to a camera and I should ship on time...then today, the woman said it had a work order, but I should just call back next week.

So to clarify for everyone the work order is something they do no matter if you have a stop sale or not , cus there stuff they need to do when the car arrives to the states once the work order is complete then they release the vehicle to be transported to dealer,
