Stop-sale / delay due to camera issue

Anyone delayed at the port because of a camera issue? Genius said they needed to be retrofitted and had no timeframe.

I got the same stop sell but mine shipped, stop sell is done in the states so that’s not stopping it from shipping

Got the same “stop sale” status which the dealer said was the camera issue - but no details beyond that

Still showing as “at the port” but can’t reach Genius. Dealer told me that the issue would be fixed in the US and that it will not be delayed shipment because of it. Hope he’s right.

He’s right cus I have same issue but mine shipped from Germany in 6 days from it getting there

update... genius said it has not been assigned a carrier yet... i have been at the port since june 23. If it is just a camera issue and stop sale what is the problem why it has not shipped.

mine has the recall. I was told it was the audio module. Mine arrived in port On 7/4 in Baltimore after sitting at the port in Germany for 33 days.

update... genius said it has not been assigned a carrier yet... i have been at the port since june 23. If it is just a camera issue and stop sale what is the problem why it has not shipped.

I'm in the same exact situation. At port since 6/28 and 2 open recalls - Audio Module and Camera Retrofit. Genius said try back on Friday to see if it had been assigned to a carrier. Basically, hurry up and wait.

Mine is at the port in Germany wait ship to USA, looks like there's a stop sale related to a camera issue. Don't have much more info. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

There have been delays in shipping with some vehicles waiting 3 weeks for a ship

Yes, I've seen many posts on the same issue. I try not to get hung up on things I can't control. It will get here when it gets here.

At Cali processing center for nearly two weeks, stop sale due to recall. Pending a ship to Hawaii thereafter. No ETA

Looks like we are in the same spot. Been in port since June 23. Mine will ship to West Coast PHMPOA and I do know (should say have heard) that ships headed here are less frequent.

I called the genius number yesterday and was told I have the stop-sale for the camera retrofit. My car is on the Niagara Highway due into Baltimore on the 13th.

My dealer told me. Apparently data only he can access. Otherwise I would not have known

From what the genius just told me, if your car is on a ship it likely already had the camera issue resolved. They have known about the issue for about a month and new vehicles leaving the port have it fixed.

For the guys who's cars got the US a month ago, likely the issue wasn't found before shipping.
