Hey all,

My MY22 Base (Santorini Blue) was scheduled for week 27 production but has now slipped to week 35. PCD delivery now estimated for week 41.

Has anyone else seen the same?

Wow, thats great news and indeed am happy for you. Were you allocated a special allocation from BMW NA because they messed up earlier or is it a different allocation?

Guess will be seeing your Twilight Purple soon.

Congrats on getting that sorted out! You're not doing PCD by chance are you? Would be pretty special to somehow get our Twilight purple builds the same day!

Thanks, I'm really glad it finally all got worked out. Yes, the dealership was fighting with corporate to get me a special allocation due to the mix up and it finally all got put in today.

Thanks! I thought about doing PCD but most likely won't. It's such a long drive back to AZ. While it would be great way to get the break-in miles done I don't think the timing will work out all that well with regards to vacation time, etc. for the latter part of this year. It sure would be cool to have two Twilight Purple deliveries on the same day though!

On a side note, I just saw on FB last night that someone got a G80 manual in Twilight Purple. I'm even more excited for the car after seeing another photo of it in some indoor lighting.

Anyone else's Vehicle Inquiry Report (VIR) only show your individual build as a special color versus actually listing out the chosen color and paint code?

Got this from the dealership today and was just kind of hoping to officially see Twilight Purple in writing. 😂
