Anyone know if for individual colors, does the color of the car displayed on the mygarage tracking site ever get updated to match the individual color or does it always stay grey?

Also, once the car arrives what color is displayed in the iDrive?

Just got word from my CA that my M3's status changed and that it's queued up like any normal M3 now! Apparently the production facility preps the paint first then when it's ready, the car gets queued for production like a normal car. Someone at BMW must really like Dakar Yellow to get it done this quick!

I called genius and they confirmed that it's set for week 50 production now, my allocation was for week 47 so the fact that individual only added 3 weeks of production is absolutely nuts. They said that as long as I don't make any changes to the build and there aren't any production parts delays, week 50 is looking likely.

I am so beyond happy and humbled with my luck knowing what some of you guys are going through/have been through. If the car is set for week 50, I can expect delivery around mid-end of February. Excited!!

Nice! My individual G80 xdrive in Mexico blue is also scheduled for week 50 now. Mine was requested for week 47 too but got confirmed for week 50. Let's hope it sticks!

On my garage it will stay grey.

I'm curious to know about the idrive though… anyone that have their car care to confirm?

It will stay gray on the tracker.

Others have commented that the car displayed in iDrive does not match your paint color. I think it defaults to a white G8x if I recall correctly. Or maybe gray/silver?

On a whim I added my VIN to the my BMW App. It actually pulled in the car color and even interior color.

Set to dock in California on 11/5. From there it's all a matter of how quickly they get it through the RAM stop sale and onto a truck over to AZ.

Twilight Purple was on the shortlist of paints for me, but the wife really doesn't like purple as a colour on cars. PLEASE show loads of pics when you get it so my next M could be Twilight Purple

Cannot wait! It's starting to get a lot more real for me knowing that the ship carrying the car just passed through the Panama Canal today. Really hoping I don't get too delayed with the RAM stop sale.

I even called up the place I've chosen for PPF and ceramic to get pricing and talk timelines. I should be pretty much set with being able to get the car in within just a few days notice after talking with them today.

I'll definitely post up a lot of photos once I have all my CF M performance parts installed and the PPF and ceramic job is done.

Just got my name on the list at my dealer. Around 35 people ahead of me, but that's ok because my lease isn't up until March 2023. Dealer expects 4-5 months before allocation gets to me, plus 5-6 months for car= I am still out of lease early.

35 people on the list, in front of you? Like a list to get a G8X? I would find another dealer. Unless they get 5-10 allocations a month. People are complaining, on here, that they have 3 people in front of them, and theyve been waiting 6 months or more.
