R44 Front splitter thoughts?

Looks like an aftermarket splitter is on the way.

I like the looks of it as a lip itself, however, it looks too tacked on since it doesn't replace the gloss black parts on each side with CF. This is part of the reason why I've ordered the M Performance CF lip.

Have you got it delivered yet?

$2400 is spicy! Looks nice though.

I'm sure there will be more after market options to come at reasonable money

I'd like something at a price point where I wouldn't worry about smashing it too much.

No, hasn't been delivered yet. In speaking with IND this morning they are still waiting on them to be shipped out from Germany. Looks like they are trying to build up a bit of a "stock pile" of them before opening up the distribution channels.

The price is steep for sure but I'm trying to stick with OEM parts as much as possible and I do like the look of the M performance lip quite a bit.

Here in Germany I was able to get it for $1,800. Love the look and the quality of the carbon fiber

This and CF front trim means it doesn't match with the rest of the lower black trim around the car and I'm pretty content with them.

I really hope there will be aftermarket parts available in gloss black for those of us that don't have the CF package because mixing and matching gloss black with CF parts is not ideal. Either all CF or all gloss black for me.

I would also personally like for some of these front lips to extend out in front of the car a bit. It adds more downforce and looks meaner than flushed with bumper like the M Performance lip

Agreed. I've been checking everyday online to see if anyone has dropped a front lip lol

I mentioned this on FB when R44 posted their CF package. They said a full lip is in the works... hopefully it doesn't take too long.

Do you guys think the BMW dealers will install the full kit from R44 when I go in for my break in service? It will just be easier and faster since the cars already going to be on a lift and I know it will get done correctly.

Prefer a gloss black as well. Matches the factory side blades. Cheaper. I won't cry when I inevitably scrape my front lip going down a steep hill.

The maxton splitters seem to be the only ones with pass throughs for aerodynamic impact. Everything else looks like just aesthetics with minimal functional ability

Their v1 looks to be most aggressive for down force

I ordered the R44 lip and rear duckbill. I think they will look great with the gloss black bits and tie in nicely with the CF roof and exhaust tips.
