The electronic steering in this car is dogshit compared to my e46 M3. I put it down to lots of tramlining, a huge dead zone and having almost no feel.

Huh... I just started to notice my 22 M3X which is lowered on KW HAS feels like its tramlining. When driving down a straight road, my steering when keeping it centered just feels like it swings from one direction to the other. I have no slack. No steering wheel noises. I DO HAVE CLICKING up front. But thats been there.
I dont know what it is. But driving straight and making very subtle corrections just feels odd. Its almost like steering is loose at dead center. But its NOT loose. Very strange feeling...

I did the CS/CSL steering coding and the on-center vagueness went away for the most part. However, I think the centering issue is most likely alignment/caster related. It also depends on what tires I run. If I'm on RE71RS which is 285/35/19 square, the steering not centering issue is more pronounced. With stock wheels and star PS4S, it's much better.
