Well that's the thing. I did turn it off. Ran out to the store an hour later and it was on. I will recheck and verify. I smoked a lot of weed when I was younger so it might be that this update just reset it and I did not notice. Maybe I fat fingered it when I was trying to hit something else.

Mine reset after the update. Pressed it back off and it hasnt returned yet.

Yes all three including Wi-Fi showed connected but there was still a message saying please connect your BMW M4? Can I just upload this on my console and bypass the app?

Double check that in Com that your phone is currently connected. I had to disconnect (Forget Network) and re-join for it to kick in again.

I had the same ‘issue’.
It downloaded to my phone but took several days to upload to the car (i.e. several trips over multiple days).
I think it is close to 0.5GB, so is a lot of data to transfer over what is probably a pretty low data rate from phone to car.
I think it is just a matter of patience…

It still is not detecting your connections. Otherwise it would say a new message ‘Transfer in progress’. Disconnect from the BMW WiFi/Bluetooth and reconnect to them with the App closed. Open up the App while on the Mobile Device Active Connection screen. It should start transferring.

Thanks that didn’t work - I was at my dealership they couldn’t do it and spent over an hour on phone w genius and she couldn’t do it - she said she opened a support ticket - the guy who creates the ticket spoke broken English at best and said they are having issues with the software upgrade and I shouldn’t expect a resolution- no lie

I finally got this to update yesterday. I was having the issue with my phone where it said wifi and BT were disconnected even though Carplay was working. Once resolved, the prompt to update came up right after shutting the car down and all went smooth.

Stupid question/minor annoyance - For those with 11.2022 with individual paint, do you still have the grey car on your screen or did it update to the correct color? For some reason the 50J TV still hasn't been included in the coding it seems.

I just took delivery. I'm on 03/2023.20. Nothing to compare it to though.
