<Bay Area> Dealership Pricing
Hi G80 Buyers
I have been researching for a new G80 for sometime now and called various dealers in the bay area from Sacramento down to Monterey. Thought I share with everyone what I have learned about various dealerships. <MSRP> Have yet to find any dealership selling current inventory (on the lot) M3 at MSRP. Most are charging $5K - $25K ADM. <Custom Order> So far Weatherford, Peter Pan, and maybe Concord are not charging any ADM, but the wait list can be very long. They are charging ADM if they have inventory M3, mainly on the Jahre edition. <Dealerships charging ADM includes custom orders as well> List of dealerships charging ADM: Roseville - $5K Monterey - $5K Stevens Creek - most likely since they are asking $25K for the Jahre ed. Fremont - $10K San Francisco - $7500 Mountain View - $10K One thing worth noting is I have been getting more calls from SA from various dealerships recently, probably a sign that their ADM strategy isn't working as anticipated. Hopefully their in stock inventory M3 will not sell and we all can buy at MSRP price. |

Stevens creek is also MSRP for orders — also I originally thought Peter Pan was a small, low volume dealership, but from what I can tell they've been pumping out the g8x orders

I personally can't stand Roseville BMW. I had a BSM G82 on order at neillo but wanted to look at different colors and They had in a BG m4 I drove from elk grove to look at, I was serious about purchasing. When my wife and I got there we stood around for 20 minutes and multiple CA just overlooked me. They also had a 10k mark up but I was willing to negotiate it down but never got helped. I asked about the skyscraper grey they had in stock just to compare colors and they said it was sold. After not getting help we left and long behold the skyscraper was still for sale outside in the lot and still listed on cars.com today. Horrible experience with them. A week later I got a BSM with bucket seats in fiona red from BMW fairfield which was almost identical to the build I ordered from niello for MSRP. Roseville eventually called me and offered the BG at MSRP and I told the manager about my experience with them and I would take my future business to Niello or Fairfield before them. Also shoutout to Niello for ordering me my original build at MSRP and the CA Geoff was not upset but was excited I found a 22 when I cancelled.

I'm not surprised. Roseville BMW is an AutoNation store. |

I ordered my car in July 2021. Niello Elk Grove. MSRP, no deposit. From desk to driveway, in 97 days. I don't have any experience with any other dealers.

Back in '21 and with an F87, but another thumbs down for Roseville. Sales manager Daood (something like that) seems a proper Richard.
Fairfield seemed pleasant enough when I was asking about a G80 they had in stock this summer.

BMW Fairfield will charge a mark up at first when the car first arrives but if the car has not sold after a few weeks they will honor the MSRP which what happened to me. I was the first one they offered the car at MSRP to and I got it the next day.

Interesting story about Roseville. I also showed up on a Saturday and they were falling over themselves to get me to drive their showroom floor G83.
I asked about ordering and they said msrp. I was too busy to stay but I came back a day or two later and ordered. This car buying experience was the best I’ve ever had. And I’m asking the CA that helped me about some of these things and I’ll report back. |

If you where to order one today I would say march-may would be your wait time and if you found one at a dealer who has one in stock they're most likely asking for a 5k mark up unless you go in person and show them you are serious they will most likely do MSRP right there and then. No way under MSRP.
