Someone needs some DownStar bolts. They replace the ones along the radiator support. I’ve also seen the stock ones painted black. xXMPowerXx painted his black. Looks great.
These bolts are very much a US style thing I think, don't see many cars with something like that over in Europe.

It just hasn’t caught on, yet.
You’re just now getting people on yellow DRLs. I had prototype boards installed by the guy that did all of the testing and research to develop them, back in July. I even told him, half of the people that ordered his first shipment, were people installing them, the other half are people that want to copy them.

A month later there we’re at least 5 other companies selling them. A US shop, ships you guys over a set, now you’ll either have shops buying them from you, who will copy them, or, you’ll be selling them, all over the place.

Unless they’re illegal for street use. But then the CSL wouldn’t be street legal, either. DownStar bolts. Someone has to start the trend. It may as well be Evolve. They would look great in either white or mint for the green beast.

Perhaps it is something we can look in to, the standard bolts aren't that aesthetically pleasing for sure.

I honestly saw them in pictures and looked past them a dozen times. I saw them installed on a car, at a local event, went home and ordered them, straight away.

They just immediately attract your eyes to them, when you pop the bonnet.

Yellow headlights have been around for a while in Europe.
Look up WW2 occupation of France and yellow headlights.

Anyway, I am all for creating something new for our great cars… the bolts look a little like gold and diamond studded teeth. Enjoy!

I lived in Germany from 1978 to 1982 and remember seeing the French Citroens with yellow headlights. I believe they’re now only leagal if the car was registered before 1993. After 1993, they’re now illegal. My main reason for the verbiage in my post about the yellow, was, the CSL yellow actually goes away when the headlights illuminate. The DRLs go to white on the actual real CSL headlights. Is it legal in the EU, to drive around with yellow DRLS, while the headlights are illuminated? Not sure.

They’ve been around for several years, they’re on eBay & alliexpress plus there’s plenty of online sources if you look hard enough. Downstar are way too expensive.
The galvanized bolts BMW use are such an eyesore I had to replace them.

They come in like 15 different colors. Plus, everything on the Evolve car is custom painted.

This m3 photo took me back to my childhood.
Thanks for sharing.
