I would honestly contact BMW Corporate and see what they can do for you - maybe a special order with an individual paint or the same car plus the tartufo buckets

If you're buying it I would reject it.
If it's a lease, I would have them fix it and demand some sort of m-performance parts to be installed or a discount in writing on a new one when your lease term is up. Then just beat the hell out of the car while you have it. |

Cars are damaged in shipping regularly, and parts get polished/resprayed before they get to the dealer. In this instance either it wasn't picked up, or it happened in the last leg of the transport. All the posters here saying 'just reject the car, this is outrageous' could easily have cars that have been repaired and never know. Unless you take a paint meter around the entire car or have an exceptionally good eye for it.

To add looking at that paint, it all looks on the surface of the clear coat. Those cloudy sections and scratches could be polished out. Replacing the scratched front grill with a new part is easy and could be done by the dealer.

doesn't look like it needs a respray. wetsand/polish and some pdr for the dent. I'd ask to have it done + a discount for the inconvenience. and they should allow you to inspect everything once its been corrected.

I would look at it post repair and simultaneously sort a 2024 allocation. Cancel new allocation if satisfied. The
Dealer will sell this at MSRP when its repaired and quickly too. |

If you NEED to get a '24 because you cannot stand something about the '25, walk away now. It will take 10 days+ to fix and it will be much harder then to get an allocation. If a '25 is OK, I would ask the dealer to fix it, which he has to do anyway, and let you see it before you agree to buy. A good body shop can match the paint. It is easier on a brand new car because there has been no fading. The formula is available.

As others have said I would walk away. The dealer should have told you directly when they told you that your car was there and that there are some issues with it.
Just my two cents...

I would pass unless you are leasing, need the car now, or don’t want a 2025. I would have the dealer look across the country for an available 2024 and see if one of those would meet your spec requirements.

I'd order a new one, LCI or not.
I'll trade you my headlights for the LCI. Turns out I'm the only person who prefers the LCI lights.

Your dealer should be able to get you another '24 allocation. They were just released today. If they didn't get one, they may be able to trade for one OR they can reach out to NA, explain the situation and can perhaps get you one (and with a discount).

That's BS. My dealer would've called me right away, sent me pics (maybe video), apologized profusely and would have already given me multiple options how to make it right, before I drove 2 hours an then "Surprise!" I Ordered a IOMG and it was spotless when I picked it up.
