Thats amazing. Tartufo isn't even available in the UK and I managed to persuade the M Product manager at BMW UK to unlock for our Individual G81 M3 only to be told I couldn't have it on the carbon buckets and only on the comfort seats. I need to kick this further up the chain as my build is not due to happen for a while.

Thanks.

Picking up from the shop tomorrow after doing full PPF, exterior and interior ceramic, PPF on the dash, and 70% window tint. Excited to get some miles on it and be done with break in.

Amazing. Not the first one with Tartufo buckets, but, it's amazing. Imran@Evolve I dont see any reason they can’t do it for you.

Imran@Evolve I don’t know how far you’re trying to go on a build, but, in the event you can’t get it approved, check out my thread on this Signal Green G82 with factory Signal Green stitching.

More pictures over on the thread I posted. With the window sticker showing it’s factory.

There is so much cool stuff available for purchase for these new BMWs. Especially the 3 series. You can get almost all of the car made of carbon fibre from inside and outside. I can't find much for my good old 6 series F13 😭 Mostly exterior parts and a few clip-ons / cheap looking stickers for the interior.
Here is what available for say M3... And I'm just scratching the surface here.

Sorry but its not worth $6500. It looks OK.

Happy OP is happy but its really nothing special. Just not like everyone else.

for $6500 there are a lot of other mods I would have chosen.
What’s not worth it to you is totally worth it to someone else.

It also undeniably looks great.

Congrats OP on a great combo…I’m picking up my Dravit Grey M4 Comp X-drive on Thursday with Tartufo interior. (Regular buckets though as I find the carbon buckets uncomfortable)

Agreed and thanks

Looking for Tartufo leather material if anyone has a lead.

Also looking for OEM floor mats piped in Tartufo if anyone has a mint or near mint set they'd like to sell?

I find it completely shortsighted that BMWNA marketing said they aren't sporty enough when every damn Ferrari is ordered with cuoio (tan/brown) carbon race seats lol.

Typically BMW marketing folks are some of the most out of touch people around. They could nickle and dime us to death and a ton of owners would pay for it like porsches. Would love to have alcantara headliner/pillars/parcel shelf, more leather options, more stitching options, more à la carte options like non-powered trunk, keyless entry delete, etc. More customizability is always a good thing even if it comes at a cost, I mean what are they thinking with the CS/CSL colorschemes? Bunch of whites/blacks/greys with signal green as a special color, come on man.

yeah launching a special edition BMW in a Porsche color was an odd choice.

Still looking for Tartufo floormats and spare material if anyone has a source.

Picked up a MAD midpipe and SST valve controller to go on over the winter.

I, for one, am glad they are not like Porsche’s marketing folks. Porsche’s nickel and dime approach is a major turn off about the brand. I can see charging extra for certain things, but you would still expect a six figure car to be reasonably well equipped. And yet, the base 911 comes with sh!tty looking wheels (that everyone upgrades), a sound system that Chrysler would have been ashamed of putting in a 1995 Dodge Neon, and interior materials that seem straight out of a VW Golf…from a couple of generations ago. And semi-manual seats (lol)

I don't disagree in theory, I guess what I would want is a much more comprehensive Individual program, so it's just there if you want to go crazy.

I work at a dealership that has an individual British Racing Green M3CX on its way WITH Tartufo Buckets optioned as an individual interior. It took some work getting it done, but you definitely need a dealership willing to jump through hoops to get it done for you. This one was spec'd this way by our management because we've been in love with these seats since we found out you cant have them. The cost is $6525 on top of the $4500 buckets option. I WILL definitely post photos once it arrives. Until then, this one is available and we will will ship out of state (Colorado). This one will be here in April. Feel free to message me about grabbing this one up, placing an order for something similar, or just questions about the process.
