UPS has just delivered these, today (I've had the wheel caps for a few weeks). 50 Jahre Anniversary Roundels. These are retail box, OEM, not a cheap knock off.

The part numbers in the pictures, fit the G80 M3 and G82 M4 hood (bonnet), and wheels. The trunk (boot) emblem (51-14-8-087-199) is specific to the G82 M4 with the S5DNA camera package.

All U.S. cars are required to have a reversing camera, per federal law. G82s sold outside of the US, are not, therefore, not all G82s have a reversing camera.

If you do not have option S5DNA, this is not your correct roundel for the trunk (boot).

I have not included where I purchased these, because I do not believe they are a forum vender, and I do not wish to get flagged or to snub any forum venders that are paying members.

I also understand these aren't for everyone. This post is just for the people that are interested in seeing how the OEM emblems come in box.

Haven't gotten to that part, yet. My whole car is PPFd, so, I have to take it easy. Not sure if the hood is a screw on, or 3M. I'll have to figure it out and I'll update the thread.

Hood is 3M. Easy to pop off and on. Get to it soldier!

Gotta see if I have some floss. I use a WaterPik, so, I'm not sure if I have the tools.

At least the OEM badge has alignment pins. I'll go see if I can swap them, now, and edit with installation pics. I wanted to wait for everything before I installed the wheel caps.

Edit: Added some installation pics. I use a Blendmount on my radar detector, so, I took the windshield suction cup that comes with my Uniden R7 to pop the wheel caps off without removing the wheels. Took like 5 minutes to line them up, and replace them all.

Looks so good. A bit scared to take floss to the paint but I'll get to it eventually once the car arrives.

I didn't end up using any floss. The front badge was literally held in with the rubber plugs in the picture. It took about 5 seconds to take off. The rear was a little more of a pita. Came off easy. IND has a trunk badge removal video for the M4. It's a quick watch. Good info. The adhesive from the old one was a little more work. Then it was peel and stick back on.

Neato, they come with black surrounds instead of chrome. Not totally pleased with the quality of my IND painted ones so I think I’ll join the anniversary club. Thanks for sharing the info.

Only the rear has the Black surround. Front is still chrome.

I was happy to see that, as well. Like Laguna said, the front still has a little ring around the outside thats chrome, on the front badge.

It's not really that noticeable on the car, to me, anyway. And FWIW, I like the rubber dowel pins to center the badge, versus having it 3M taped without centering pins.

What don't you like about the IND painted ones?

My rear one had some small bubbles in the creases, the rings above and below the BMW letters. I actually did send them a note & pics about it just so they could be aware for the future, but told them I wasn’t looking for a refund or anything and installed it anyway. I’m sure they would’ve replaced it if I wanted. Figured I’d be getting these 50 Jahre ones at some point anyway, didn’t seem worth the hassle.

Bodyshop guys use mineral spirits to soften glue. NO paint damage. Tip 'o the day.

There are over a dozen 50th Anniversary Classic M Roundel PNs.

Great photo library of the parts and installs. First in the US.

They should be available in the US this month (June 2022). Look to see if the wheel hub caps come in the floating versions. For dark wheel finishes, all that white doesn't look great.

Really hoping IND can replace all that white with black or a dark blue for my 2 light and dark blue E/F-model BMW M cars.

There are also new M edition ///M blacked out emblems on the rear trunk with gold outline. They might just be for ///M EVs.

I’m confused by the title as all 22-23 M cars come with the 50th anniversary badges unless optioned to regular ones.

Anyone can add these BMW 50th Anniversary Classic M Roundels to their G/F/E model BMWs. There is a big demand for these 50th Anniversary Roundels to be retrofitted to older cars.

These 50th Anniversary Roundels come preinstalled on ///M and M-Sport cars with a build date after March 2022.
