How many tickets have you gotten

So owning my 21 g80 for 6 months I leaned that this car is way to fast for regular driving. Not only that, but when you are driving it it seemed to feel so much slower than you really are going.

So, as the title says, how many tickets have you gotten since you got your g80?

So far none however i'm standing on the edge the past couple of drives though. I know my luck is going to run out.

OP, you know how NJ drivers are. They fucking BLOW. So much that even when your purpose of your drive is to sometimes enjoying the drive, people drive like fucking idiots that it makes you mad. You either have to evade them, or just to get away from them because they're going to cause an accident.

Just an hour ago i was merging on the freeway and you know when you're merging and you look at your driver side mirror and you notice people see you signaling so what to they do? They speed up! So you can't merge and be in front of them. Because oh god imagine a car getting in front of you. How disrespectful right?

Well this idiot started to speed up and i just mashed the throttle and i took off and got up to mexico speeds very fast i had to slam on the brakes because of more idiot drivers going slow in the left lane lol.

Seriously i take my drives in my morning so the roads are less congested. Well it never fails on a sunday. The idiots are out 24/7.

Sometimes i wish i was still in break in, that way i'm forced to go slow lol.

For my M340i, none. However, I decided to let me GF at the time drive it, and she got clocked doing 87 in a 45.

Whenever someone asks how fast these new BMW B58/S58 motors are, I always tell them "My previous car could do 0-60 in about 8 seconds. This car does 0-lose your license in 8 seconds"

None. But if you do never plead guilty. It's not the fine it's the points on license that matter for insurance. Plead not guilty, ask for supporting deposition and scheduled court date. Delay it as long and as many times as possible. If you can delay it at least 3 years, I've done it, even if the ticket doesn't get dismissed the points will never show on license as it's 3 years from violation not from conviction.

I've done this too on a pretty hefty speeding charge 😂

In 6 months of ownership and 3000 miles I have got:

3 tickets for no front plate
A fix it ticket for tinted windshield
A ticket for speeding

Managed to get away with 3/5 so have only had to pay for two of the tickets

Wow, how do you delay delay for 3 years? Just file normal motions asking for an extension of the hearing or whatever?

Damn what state are you guys in… near a major city?

I’ve run 20% tint and no front plates on my M340 for 2 years with 0 tickets related. Got stopped once for speeding 20 over that’s it. Also mostly stick to city or highway.

I can't believe law enforcement tickets front licenses. It has zero public safety benefits.

none. knock on wood. my advice is never speed by yourself. Easier to get a warning if cop can't pull over everyone speeding. at least from my experience.

If you guys don't want tickets and live in the states a buddy of mine sells FOP, FLEOA, PBA, Gold Cards, etc. that can get you out of speeding tickets, reckless driving, parking at meters and much more. Trust me when I say you'll never get a speeding ticket again. I personally have the FLEOA. The Gold cards are the best even if you get a ticket which never happens the officer will go out of his way to get it dropped for you. If you live in the east you have more options as well.

The first 2 you can usually just call in and delay. That usually buys a year or two especially if you can convince them the first option they give you doesn't work because you are traveling or child care. Sometimes that's enough to get to 3 years if they are backed up. Additional delays require some work but in todays Covid world are easier because delays due to medical issues are easy. I had a ticket in Nassau a while back that I delayed for 6 years. Went to court, didn't even try to fight it, paid fine and never showed on license.
