DSC OFF and 4WD Sport

Like everyone else, I've been playing with the various setting. The standard setting I find myself in is the MDM/4WD SPORT. But yesterday, as I was exploring, I realized you can actually have the car in 4WD SPORT and DSC OFF.

Has anyone tried this mode. I kinda liked the way the car handles in this mode. 4WD sport should be plenty safe on a spirited backroad driving I would think..

Thoughts?

4wd sport just means more power is sent to the rear wheels. It has nothing to do with stability control. DSC and MDM are stability control settings. MDM will let you get sideways, but will intervene if you get too out of control. DSC off will never intervene.

Very well put. Exactly.

Do you think you can get faster 0 to 60 times with 4WD sport on or off?

Thank you.

My unscientific testing at the drag strip has shown that 4wd sport yields a slightly quicker time in the 1/4, but I wouldn't bet any money on that.

I am curious as to which mode you have to have active for Launch Control. My car is currently shipping so I don't have an owners manual.

DSC has to be off. You can't launch in MDM mode. You can however set the awd to either mode
