Looks good and doesn't look too aftermarket, unlike the official M performance parts. Wing looks good, large wings look awful and very aftermarket on any modern BMW (post e46), splitter is again not too big but the right size. The grill is perfect because it helps to fix it without ruining the OEM look. Overall one of if not the best kit for the G8X, I cant wait for the G81 with this.

The trunk spoiler has potential. I can see it looking really cool if it was painted body colored, but leaving a strip of CF visible from the rear (…similar to how CSL trunk spoilers were painted back in the day).

Really surprised to see the “this solved the G8X” grill reaction here. Looks to me like you could basically cut most of the horizontal slats out of the stock grill and end up with the same thing. Also not a fan of how the bottom half of the parking sensors stick out.
Just my opinion based on pictures of this and owning a G82…no way I’d swap the stock grill out for this one, even if it was free. Last edited by Hawkdog; 01-18-2022 at 12:21 AM.. |

I hate, and I mean truly despise, the mega grill on the stock car. It's kept me from buying a new M3. But I gotta tell you, this is an improvement big time. Congrats!

I'd be curious if that grill ends up restricting air flow and decreases cooling. OEM grill is designed to flow max air thru it

Disgusting
More random asymmetrical lines and shapes on an already asymmetrical and disproportionate car A for Effort though

This is an impressively disciplined and professional design. It looks OEM.
The grille is a quality interpretation of the M4 GT4 piece. It also respects the taste of the G8x owner and doesn’t try to “fix” a design that many of us enjoy. It’s a proper enhancement. I think they nailed it. |

I'm sure they tested for this in a wind tunnel.

The designers at BMW are emulating the intake of a jet fighter. The OEM look has grown on me…. And makes all prior grills look dated. IMHO

I think it's a great design! Reminds me of the M4GT3 race car front.
As others have stated in this thread, I do question the street-compatibility of the grille, as those gaping holes on the bottom end are open invites for large debris or even small animals |

All parts look great besides the (imo) hideous rear spoiler. Love the front spoiler and the grille.

Yep the best solution by far I've seen for grill. Looks great. Price is great too. Still would have to order car in grey shades or black to be completely happy. Wish they could have hid those two sensors.
Wheels are great too but I would not spend the money and put my already paid for brand new OEMS on a shelve in garage. Nice job Vorstein. |
