Steering Wheel Wrap

Anyone wrapped their steering wheel? Did you go Alcantara, perforated or leather? Let's see some pics

I saw a guy do it on an FB G80 group, here's the link

I ordered one from here, not sure on the quality of it, I ordered it in suede option so idk. I'm doing it to protect my steering wheel because I hate it when it becomes oily.

Thank you. The link does not work. I am thinking about doing this. Flat top and bottom

I did mine, full alcantara, tri color stitch. Fun job and very happy with the quality/feel of the material. I learned a lot on the first try, so redid it and it came out much better. If I had more adhesive and thread, I'd probably redo it again and make it near-OEM finish.

Nice. I have YAS too. The Blue stripe matches the interior. Any plan to change the M1/M2 and Start/Stop buttons to Blue?

Great work! How did you get the material for this?
Does it come as a kit? Is the original leather removed, or is it wrapped on top?

Yeah, the perfect match in blue was pure luck. And no plans to change the red. Kinda ties in well with the start/stop button.

Thanks! Like posted above, East detailing is the place. I recommend just sending them an email with what you want, and I strongly recommend paying a little more for the full alcantara. Really nice material, feels nice and high end.

It's actual a pretty straight forward DIY. They send enough adhesive and thread to redo if needed. This wraps directly over the original leather.

Did you get the 9040 or 9002 Alcantara? Trying to see what would match the black leather better.

Any cons to not using the adhesive?
