Found these in carbon fiber at a great price. Haven't installed since don't have car yet.

Same question. Do they flex if they touch a road bump?

Anyone have trouble putting the pop rivets back in? It's as if the thickness of the mud flap prevents the stems from opening. The pins won't go in the last 1/4" and I'm having the same problem on both sides. I contacted Tommy and his advice was to keep hammering.

Installing mine within two weeks so will let you know if there is any trouble. Did it all work out?

I screwed up my rivets and lost my passenger front mudflat when doing snow donuts. So I reached out to him and he sent me two new front mudflaps! I also needed more rivets and sent them! He's great! I've noticed to get the rivets in you have to do firm hits for the rivets to go in and when it's sticking a little bit out give it a few more firm hits.

Haven't had a chance to try again. I don't think anyone else has had this issue.

Can't get the pins in more than this. I've tried firm hits as csayad said but ended up flattening the pin.

That's odd, I used a hammer and it was a little resistant but kept tapping until it went in. The installer who did my PPF tool mine off and I just ordered some more on Amazon and replaced them.

Do these things flex if you are lowered and roll over a high speed bump or something that might catch the bottom on the flaps?

I had the same issue when installing the Auto Tecknic splash guards.
It seemed almost impossible to push that pin in without bending the whole thing.
I tried different push pins and whatnot but ended up using black blind rivets.
Worked like a charm:

They're pretty stiff. Will they bend, probably. but it's not the really flexible material Rally Armor has.

I have TLGs on mine and the best flap I've used, they are flexible enough if you have a really hash small speed bump not to pop the rivits. Keep the side of the car clear from tar and stones.

Congrats. They do make cleaning easier and protect the rocker panels from debris

I have TLG mud flaps and ordered the RW Carbon ones. I wonder how they will hold up to the constant beating of rocks. My TLG ones are starting to look a little beaten up after 5 months.

I've had the Autotecknic splash guards on the F87 as well, and with the brittle nature of the CF/Resin finish, the surface doesn't look too good after some use.
My G82's CF ones already start to show wear after a few hundred miles.
But that's the purpose of mud flaps/splash guards, right?
Imagine those rocks hitting the body panel!

I like Autotecknic's design the most, but they don't have the rears available. So I ordered a set from Automotive Passion.
Hoping to see a similar quality product.

How did you guys get these rivets off? I tried pushing the pin in with small screw drivers and other appropriately shaped odds and ends. I even tried hammering in the screwdriver a bit. The pins are not budging. What am I missing?

yeah they can be a bit stubborn but i got a small screwdriver in the middle and just hit the end of the screwdriver with my palm, you will hear a pop.

Just traded emails with Tommy. These rivets are a different design. The inner part needs to be drilled out.
