M Performance front attachment carbon fiber

I am the biggest front splitter fan. Have one on every car I buy. As I wait for this AWD to come out I was shopping for one and came across BMWs M Performance one.

I am sure there will be nicer aftermarket splitters soon hopefully but I really like this one. I can't find any pricing or info on it.

Anyone else thinking about purchasing it?

this lip looks very good, but will be for sure hell of expensive.
first mod for me will be the MP-HAS, this will already be quiet expensive.
After that I maybe thing about this front splitter too

I did quick interpretation of the lip:

It's not the best job because I only have basic paint program on the computer, but there are some parts of the original lip that I really don't like, so I had to do my version when I saw this thread!

I will need to see how low it sits once lowered. My F80 lip sat so low when the car was lowered to just top tire. I opted for a Rw carbon lip which fit pretty good. Im usaully a OEM guy but couldnt bring myself to spend $2500.00 when all i saw was people destroying multiple lips.

Pricing info is already out. I believe it's around $2800. At that price point you mind as well roll the entire $5k package into your purchase price.

M Performance height adjustable sleeve over.

The M performance suspension.

OCfromOC

The front lip is not included in the carbon exterior package.

M Performance parts are seperate and can't be ordered with the car itself.

As much as I like the M Performance Lip, I think I'm going to be cheap and wait for some aftermarket offerings. The M tax is becoming equal to the Porsche tax.

Same here. For something so prone to damage, I just can't stomach that price. I remember how I felt when a tire ruined my Arkym carbon fiber lip on one of my E9X M3's. I swore to never again opt for an expensive lip.

Anyone think the the m performance splitter will be weird looking if you don't have the carbon air inlets?

Would like to have both but the air inlets are another 3k as a pair :

I purchased and installed the BMW M Performance carbon fiber front lip last month. Look through my posts and you'll find where I posted pics of it.

I love the way it looks. But I plan on lowering my car a bit (nothing nuts) and I'm over having to drive over bumps and driveways sideways as well as worry about every little hump in the road ripping it off or scraping it up. And living where I do (NJ), yeah, some of the roads suck. So it would be more trouble than its worth for me personally.

I've replaced my non-Carbon splitter twice now on my F80 over the past 5 years. As good as the BMW M Performance one looks, no way I'm gonna run the CF one on the G80.
