Cargo net hooks?

Does the current model not have cargo net hooks in the trunk? If not I hope they re-add those. I do like being able to make a turn without my watermelon and tomatoes rolling around in the trunk!

They do, it has small sections each side and I think an option for a larger net in the center

The view on that photo doesn't show if it has the cargo hooks. On an F80 they are seen as in this image with the green hook in my case

Here is an image of an F30 with all 3 net options. The side net(very small), the center net (medium size items will fit and this has also been removed as a standard option as seen in your photo). And also the rear cargo net that uses hooks on both ends (better for large objects).

I'll let some owners respond, maybe I saw an F80 trunk? I've seen so many photos and videos my brain has melded it all together!

found this thread, just verified my car definitely has the hooks (very similar to my F80) but it didn't come with a cargo net. I can't find one on the parts website either....

anyone has figured this out yet ?

I forgot to remove my cargo net when trading in my F80. Anyone find a good net yet?

GetBMWParts website says it's for convertibles only, none of the floor hooks on the diagram look compatible with G80's hook points either.

Ah, makes sense. I just asked the parts department at the dealership and he ordered it for me. I definitely miss having one.

The G82 has (4) hooks for a cargo net. I have a small collection of nets from prior BMWs, and the first one I grabbed fit fine.

The nets have a fair amount of elasticity, so one which fits any 3er fro E46 or 5er from E39 onward ought to work. From what I can tell it looks like the one I'm using. If your parts manager can advise you which BMWs that net fits, you can go from there.

Looks like there are two sizes, medium and large. Both should fit.

I emailed getbmwparts.com this morning, gave my VIN and asked them what cargo net fit my 21' M3 Comp. Here is the link they sent me: https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...IFJlc3VsdHM%3D

Went ahead and ordered it so we'll see how it goes. I've ordered from them a ton of times and have always received the right parts.

That's the large one. Should fit.

This is the medium net on the G80 for comparison, I like how you can rest things on top of it and the net is tight enough to keep them from sliding around too much, or it's plenty tight if you put them under the net as you'd expect (similar to the f80 net).

I just picked this mat up and its not exactly a great fit.
Its close to 1/2" too long. It doesnt seat flush without pushing the edging down, which kind of bows the BMW emblem handle upward.

The sides are also a little short to where they do not fully touch the side walls of the trunk space. Id give this a 8/10 for fitment.
