Honestly, I kinda did the same thing. When it first came out I told myself no way I'm getting it with that front. Then I saw it in person and test drove it and was sold!

I did the same thing. Was on my way to put a deposit on a RS6.

This happens with a lot of M3's. Too big, too heavy, too expensive…and eventually people cave.

It's the same thing when people say it's too quiet…it's too quiet compared to your previous M3 that had cat less down pipes!

I believe this is the best all round car in terms of balance of performance, practicality, power and price by a country mile.

Is this the one where they accused BMW of forcing their employees to make those videos explaining different parts of the car? Or is the the one where they said this car would end the careers of those employees and make them unhirable at other companies in the future?

Exactly where does he " eat his words"? He in fact says he is not eating his words and if it were not for the need of the taxi he would not buy the car as he still does not like how it looks.

Interesting they say that AWD will only make you hit the wall faster. Of course these are seasoned professionals who know how to drive, but nice to see some love and recognition for the pure RWD.

The phrase “eat his words” is not one that is literal as it is figurative. The fact that he said he would never buy one and then bought one fits the phrase.
