Not much you can do , let it dry and see how it goes. If you are able to unseal it , clean it and put it back then that's your only option. |

Go to your BMW dealer and ask them what they think. I think the last two replies have visited a different type of dealer…

Just based on the previous similar thread , someone mentioned these headlights have a tiny hole in them which lets in this moisture. |

Headlights have had breathable membranes for years. Some even just have an air hole on the back of the housing. That amount of condensation is NOT normal at all as far as I'm concerned. Looks like BMW did not do a very good job designing these lights if so many people have already reported similar experiences. Once that water pools, Im willing to beat its dam near a teaspoon of water. That's an insane amount of water in a headlamp.

Don't listen to those guys, there's holes on the outside lens that let water in. You're absolutely fine. It'll dry out

According to this manual screen shot, it says if you have water droplets, to have them checked out. His look drenched.

Same thing happened to me Monday (5 days ago), and this is how much moisture remains. I've given my dealership a heads-up I'll be submitting a warranty claim ...

I learned today that BMW issued a service bulletin (63 02 22) addressing excess headlight condensation in M3 sedans, M4 coupes, and G2x 4 Series produced before March 2022. The bulletin prescribes replacing headlight vents with updated parts. Parts for my car arrived today; installation will occur later this week.
Again, some condensation is normal and will dissipate in short order after running the headlights on low beam. |

I'll have a look before they install it. I've gotten (small amounts of) condensation when driving in rain, which evaporates in a day or two.
The past two Monday mornings involved driving in torrential rain and through large puddles (where municipal sewer drains were overwhelmed). The right front wheel wells filled with so much water that some penetrated the headlight vents and into the headlights themselves. The headlight was finally moisture-free this morning (9 days after the initial deluge). I ran with my headlights on yesterday (two half hour trips, plus a few shorter jaunts), which may have finally facilitated evaporation. For whatever reason, more evaporation occurs while the car is parked than while it's being driven. |
