BMW has badges for everything, I am surprised there is no differentiation between the rear and AWD M3... you think it will be cheesy/stupid to add the X or Xdrive emblem on the M3? Like who cares, right?!

Like just the black "X" (from say X3 or X5) next to the ///M3 Competition emblem?!

I don’t think it’s cheesy or stupid. I think it would look cool. However it does make the AWD more stealth. This version of the G8X is Hella fast. I have already got a 3.2 sec 0-60MPH and I know others have done better. That’s stock. The best I got with my RWD version was 3.9. So people pulling up next to you at a red light don’t know what you have and one version is over a half a second faster 0-60.

I personally don't think it would look good on there but in the very least if you are going to add it, add the that says XDrive versus just adding an X.

Not a fan of adding badges to anything, especially when it never came from the factory like that.

I would leave it alone personally and keep them guessing at the lights!

The only badge I’ve ever added or will consider adding to a BMW is Dinan. And honestly that era ended a long time ago. I still have my dinan emblem on my E92 but thats only because I have the 10 points required

I wasn’t paying attention. I thought the OP was asking whether or not it would be cheesy had the factory put one there. I would never add a badge. But I do think it would’ve been cool had come with one.

I'm glad there isn't an extra badge. Sure it's awd, but it's still an M3, and that's all that should be in the back of the car IMO.

I personally wouldn't I like to keep the allure. I'm very surprised BMW didn't change ANYTHING on the xDrive version compared to RWD. Absolutely no way to tell which is which aside from look to see if it has a front CV shaft.

At the end of the day this is your vehicle, so do it how you want it. You're the one ponying up the money for it, throw a badge or 2 on there. I'd recommend the OEM xDrive badge just for a cleaner look. Use a level as well! Nothing worse than crooked badges on a vehicle.

+1 within a month of ownership, there has been quite few ( I mean at least once a day when I take it out for joy ride / daily commute) "Somedumbfaks" with less than competitble vehicle pulling next to me and few times, I gave them "brute" introduction of G82 X seeing them far behind my side mirror ,, Holy crap does X drive pulls,,, crazy fast and I love it.

On the other note,I disagree with putting x badge on the car,, even though it maybe genuine badge, putting non official badge on the bmw downgrades vehicle in my opinion. something like 5 serie with M performance upgrade putting M badge on their vehicle, just make it stupid and sad, how stupid they look trying to looklike M car.
this may be different with x badge, but I just don't think it may look right.
