There were already 5 extra wheels and tires in the garage (a set of snows, and a 5th with a cheap summer tire to live in the trunk on spare duty), and she was already getting HRE and Forgeline ads popping up in her FB (I hate the targeted ads - if I don’t remember to use incognito mode and make sure I’m not signed into the browser, she knows exactly what I’m shopping for ).

Watched me pull the blue protective stuff off of the M3 seat logos though. But she also thinks the illumination is cool!

I think it's cool that it lights up but I am not going to do a mod to keep them on the entire time I am driving. I don't see the point.

It's so when you pull up next to grandma in her corolla at the red light, she knows you mean business.

I said “yes” to he was the only one. I don’t think it’s tacky. I think it looks cool. But then again I like the illuminated star on a Mercedes-Benz also so I guess I’m in the minority on these things.
Wow my bad. Stupid me. Too much bourbon last night. 😎

It's funny when cookie-cutter SUVs slam on their accelerator on on-ramps, with cute pig-tail smoke wufts from their exhausts, thinking it makes any difference. I let them get a head start and then when they are a quarter of the way on the ramp, I'm already on the highway.

Illuminated seatback lights could maybe save them the wear on their drivetrain. Lol.

Would this prematurely burn out the lights in seat? I'm sure they are nit meant to withstand it.

I think there is bit because it's on the same circuit as the map lights they will also have to stay on or you can pull the bulb and lose them.

This seems like a great way to start a fire and burn your car to the ground. Good luck.

My guess is if they are always on, they'll become less special in a short time.

Yea that would, in my humble opinion, be annoying as hell.
There’s a line between wow that’s cool, glad my car cost $50k more than that m340i - to wow that’s obnoxious.

It’s kinda pushing toward obnoxious, like a neon sign blinking “M”

“M”

“M”

Idk, that’s my humble opinion.
I think it was done tastefully.

I agree with both parts. I would not take the MB if I could not get it without the illuminated logo.
I really like the detail of the illuminated logo in my carbon buckets. I think for me the difference is our illuminated logos are for us on approach versus the huge star on the front of the car screaming “hey look at me”.
