Gloss rocker panels really?

Who thought it was a good idea to make these gloss black.
Getting in and out with shoes hitting them not to mention rocks.
How bad are yours?
I guess these are mandatory ppf items

You said it -- mandatory PPF. Climbing out in boots onto icy/snowy pavement -- and avoiding those protruding rockers -- is even more comical when you're no longer young and spry!

Wrap the whole car in clear and there are no issues… it worked perfect.

Before you installed them? I'm still on the fence about installing the R44 side blades. Are they a constant target for everyone's shoes or just the Infrequent clod?

They got PPF'd after I put them on the car. I asked the shop if they'd rather me just bring them along or install them first and they recommended having them installed. 🤷🏻

I haven't had any issue with them and don't feel as though they are in the way with regards to the front. My kids (7 & 4) complained slightly the first time they had to get in and out of the back but a quick little demo of how they can just step over it and it hasn't been an issue since. They haven't kicked them or scuffed them so far and it's a daily driver for school drop off and pickup.

Ok. If you can keep the kids off it then maybe I was more concerned than I should be. Thanks.
