Absolute ugliest front end on the market, bar none.
This new desire BMW has to guise being a market leader and on the cutting edge is a sad excuse for pathetic choices. This front end, the reverse tach on current M cars...why? What purpose? Otherwise, could have been a winner. Oh well, at least there is Prior Design. |

This spec makes up for that grille.

Disaster.
Than again, modern crowd will buy anything. Literally anything. Slap a BMW badge on a carriage and watch sales go through the roof. Just look at the X4 and X6; arguably the ugliest SUV's in existence still selling well. Nothing surprises me in the car world anymore. |

It Won me over for the M3
It's no way the grille looks bad.
I've always to myself BMW designed the grille for the M then work down with the other trims. The lines of the grille falls in line with the "M-Lines"... Thoughts? Or I'm alone one the island 🏝 |

OMG - this is the absolute perfect build. Everything including the wheels...and I am not not a dark wheel person.

Looks good. I have to admit that although I would have preferred a more restrained design, the grill is growing on me. IMO, the frameless design plus the overall aggressiveness of the G8X renders the grill MUCH better in this application than on the 4 series coupe.
Looks good in frozen grey, but I would still avoid. For me, the fact that you can't polish out defects would just drive me insane. This bothers me much more than the fact that inevitably a frozen finish will "date" the car ("Hey - look at that! Remember the frozen paint fad?"), because lots of design cues date cars. In fact, some we now love. IMO the best way to go frozen is Expel Stealth.

This is the first pics/video of the new M3 that I really like. The one thing that bothers me for some reason is the different size wheels front and back. The aspect ratio of the front tires draws me to it and I think it looks a little strange.

Awesome! All of the black and carbon on the frozen gray looks amazing. Now I don’t care if you do or don’t like the size or shape of the grille, but those horizontal grille bars with no frame look absolutely great against the body color.

amazing interior and rear end. Front, don't mind the grills, but the hood where it meets the grill and the front headlights, all that area looks bloated. Not a fan yet
