It definitely makes the f8x seem dated, but I guess I'm old fashioned 😜

Will we be able to get those M Perf seats displayed on the M4, in the M3?

I think the original F8x weight figures were a bit off but still, the rather significant weight gain is there.

That's what I'm most disappointed by.

Now that we compared them , I could see how horrible those door handle gaps are! terrible.

Add that scarface hood line, "THAT" ugly grill, the uninspired and unoriginal tail lights, the out of place rear door which doesn't flow with the rear fender, the ugly door handle gaps, the lack of Hofmeister kink, the kitschy bottom plastic.... and so on..., and you realize what a mess this is.
Screw that.
Better get an an X3M or X4 and call it a day. Good performance, good DD and more lenient and better in terms of design.
In my opinion this is a FAILURE.

I'm mostly bothered by those rear Carbon Ceramic brake calipers. The F80 had beautiful rear calipers, these are more basic and seem to come straight off the M5/M8

Ok... so no huge improvement on 0-60 figures. I was hoping for a 3.5 with more horse powers.

Ya know when you see someone who looks really good from the back, great body ... but then you see their face and that just ruins it?

Now that I've seen it with no camouflage it's pretty much the same thing. Great body, especially the rear, but the face!

Waiting to see if they managed to not mess up the next M2.

They're making people buy into the AWD version to get it to 3.5sec. Which is what BMW wants us to do, spend more money and get away from manual transmission.

The G8x gained around 500lbs of weight and will weigh around 150-200lbs more on top of that for the awd version over the F8x according to those numbers. You can criticize the controversial design as it is ultimately a matter of opinion, but that type of weight gain is simply unacceptable from any viewpoint.

Wow, what a let down.

I'm most surprised about the weight too. Nearly 600lbs more than the F80 I own? No way I'll end up purchasing this one unless it somehow grows on me? I figured by now it would have grown on me.

Looking at the rest of the G80, I can't help to feel like we're still being played when I see the front end. Like it's some kind of terribly long and awful joke. Feels like the front was designed by a totally different team that hated the team who designed the rest of the car

Wait for the AWD figures but yes thought it might be more. Possibly underselling this here I'd say.
