Is it me or is there a delay when selecting Reverse?

When I back out of my garage I always notice a second delay before the throttle engages and I move. We have a 4 car garage but where this car goes I have surfboards along the side so I come in slow...as opposed to fast right but when I leave and select Reverse I notice the car does not immediately, well, move. Is it me?

This is by design. They tryna make it act like the previous double clutch but it fails in this way frequently.

Do you have one or just throwing that out there? I have had plenty of " automatics" and never had a delay.

Yeah I have one, when I get home I'll check it out.

But to this point 2k miles in I haven't thought "reverse is really slow to engage" yet.

How much time after start are you (and others noticing it) selecting a gear?
