I want all my dates to have a Spears moment HAHAHA.

When you say something ON A CAR FORUM such as "If it’s the car you both use regularly, buckets not recommended. The joy they give you is not going to outweigh the complaints you hear every single time you ride in the car together" you're opening yourself up to the peanut gallery. It wasn't personal although he took it very personally (she is clearly reading his posts and he felt the need to defend).

You're basically admitting that you would LOVE to get the bucket seats but you don't wanna deal with your wife nagging. That kind of statement on a car forum is gold. I get it, I used to be married.

Also, it's not clear to me whether he owns a car with bucket seats and should be opining.

I didn't take anything personally. My wife doesn't read my posts and she doesn't approve my vehicle purchases. But I still care about her comfort and consider her. Your post indicates that you would put cool looking seats in your daily driver over the comfort and security of your partner, which is an interesting insight.

Security has nothing to do with it, and comfort is subjective. Also, that is NOT what you said. The joy the seats will bring you is outweighed by the constant complaining.

I was being facetious when I said she read your posts, there wasn't an actual need to rebut that statement (although it's hilarious you did).

My girlfriend absolutely loves them, as does my 71 year old father, and I am a horrible person for not consulting them in advance.

Are there any women on this site who can comment on the fact that when you sit in the passenger seat of the carbon bucket seats you can't cross your legs?

Pulled the trigger on the Carbon buckets seats, no dog-house for me thank goodness. Will try to get some custom cushion made up for her so she can feel a little more comfortable

I told my wife she is going to hate the new seats in my new sedan (when I finally get one) she said "get what you want and if it is super bad I will just ride in the back on family trips and one of the kids can ride up front"

That was the 15 seconds we spent on the issue.

I do take passengers (never more than 2) at work on occasion and plan on offering them to be chauffeured if they want or sit up front and suffer, up to them.

Are you serious? Looks like the Price is Right how she is showing the car. Just waiting for the late Bob Barker to make a camo appearance at the end. You can do better than BMW of Freeport.
