How many miles did your car have on it when you picked it up?

Just curious to know how many miles your car had when you picked it up from the dealership. I have 18 miles and I am trying to figure out whether these were from testing at the factory or if the dealership may have driven it around.

I would say that is totally normal. I assume that your dealer will have to make a testdrive with the car before delivery to you. If he would not do that and something is wrong with the car you are most likely the kind of person who would complain about that as well......... So i guess for some people it is never OK......

My G80 had 11 miles at pickup. This C&D article says most new cars have 10-50:

Mine have 50 but I bought it out of the showroom. Guessing it had a few test drives under its belt.

93 miles. =(

I got a great deal on my G82 from a fleet manager, but her dealership was about 40 miles away. I asked when I should come in to pick her up and she said they offer free delivery. For some reason, I assumed they would bring her in a trailer and so there wouldn't be any additional mileage and agreed.

Fast forward to a few hours later and the delivery guy says he's outside. I go out and nothing. He describes his surroundings and it's NOTHING like where I live. I give him my address again and we realize his mistake. I live on NORTH ABC Street and he went to SOUTH ABC Street which is about 20 miles past where I live (I checked my email and I definitely gave the correct address). He finally shows up about 25 anxious minutes later (traffic) and I was surprised to see no trailer and he was DRIVING it. To add salt to the wound, he was wearing some heavy cheap cologne and my car smelled like a cross between new car and his cologne (his smell finally went away after about 2 weeks, but I occasionally get a whiff of it when I start the A/C).

After some quick Google Maps searching and some math, I figure my G82 had about 13 miles on it. (40 miles to my place + 20 miles past my place + 20 miles backtracking = 80 miles). 93 miles on odo minus 80 = 13 miles when it left the dealership.

33. But 10 were from my test drive. According to the dealer, I am the only one to test drive the vehicle. When I picked up my F82 back in '15, she had 13 miles on her.

Don't have a G, but my F80 had around 10 or so miles when I picked it up (don't remember the exact miles). The lowest mileage I've ever had on a new car was a Mazda I picked up from the lot many years ago. They had received it that morning, and it had 2 miles on it before my test drive.

My dealer got mine from Crevier, and had 5 on it. My salesman drove it out to me putting ~ 17 more on it, and drove my Corvette back. As he drives a Cayman S, I had no problem with him driving it--and I got to test drive it out here where roads are wide open, rather than in city traffic for the first time. That worked out very well.
