Sounds good, feel free to record and link a YouTube video if you’re into that lol

Put on my self-made OEM 50th Year floating center caps. Excuse the dirty wheels. Wish I could upload a video!

Super happy with the outcome, takes trim tools, a heat gun, tough thumbs, and a lot of patience.

Absolutely man! Looking good! Just take your time. Like I said, the normal BMW logo heat them up really well. The 50th caps have four little clips.

I didn’t heat that much. Which set are you talking about? The normal bmw on the floaters are adhesive just around the black outer ring.

The 50th are clips- no glue.

The first one was a PITA. Heat up the outer ring it’s a white gorilla glue type glue. I used these trim tools. The arrow for the floaters and the circled for the 50th.

The tool used for the floaters I had to wedge in between the metal and plastic after heated and once in, kept the tool wedges in there and ran it in a circle and the cap popped off

You actually don't even need to heat them up, just get a sharp flathead screwdriver between the two pieces. You'll bend the metal logo a bit but it's easy to bend it back with some pliers.

Awesome!! The heat helped me with the trim tools and other than the first cap (learning curve) the other 3 caps came off without a bend.
Glad you got it!!!

What glue did you use? I'm thinking either jbweld or silicon for bathrooms.

I used the gorilla glue construction adhesive. I tested it on an old cap and it was the same color/texture when it dried. Jbweld may be a good option also!
