Pulling the trigger today!! Thanks for the help everyone.

Hey all...I"m heading to the dealer later to get on the allocation list for an M3 AWD for delivery in December or January. I"m going with Brooklyn Gray and Tartufo leather. I'm not sure on the wheels yet. The black looks awesome, but so do the bi-color 826. I don't think you can go wrong either way so it's a tough choice.

Thank you to everyone on here who answered my questions about everything from color to pricing. Thanks to you I'm really happy about the decision on this car and the deal I got. Chicago people please say hi!

Anyone know anybody looking for 2019 C43 AMG?

I have a lease expiring in December. The residual value is really low so it looks like I'll be able to roll some value into the new car. To do that I'll have to wait.

Got it . Hope it all works out for you. My m3 lease expires 6/26 , dealer says I can extend my lease a few months if I have an order in. I’m first on their list to order an awd m4 so hoping sop starts soon and I can place an order. All this talk about parts shortages, etc. is making me nervous.

Congrats! Do you still need to worry about being winter-ready when you expect to take delivery? If so, what’re you planning for wheels and tires for the cold months?

So I had the same concern with my AMG. I switch between the performance tires that came with the car and Continental Extreme Contacts for the winter. In fact, the BMW dealers I've asked around here will store your extra set and do the changeover twice a year for you at a reasonable cost.

Separate wheels, or do you just swap the rubber?

I have dedicated rims + tires for winter on my car, and intend to do the same for the G80 (assuming I get past the “thinking about it” stage like you did

I’ll look at the Contis. I have been running Pirelli Sottozeros the last few years.

Congrats!

I'm in the same boat - I have a 2019 C43 also and am looking to get into the new M3 when my lease is up.

I'm actually renting a M4 comp this coming weekend from a fellow poster via Turo and am happy to provide any feedback if you would like? Not sure if you've driven the car yet

I just switch the rubber on the stock rims every April and November. I liked the look of the stock rims on the Mercedes. I’ll likely do the same on the M3.

I was able to secure a discount for a December/January delivery. The dealer closest to me that I have been talking to was unwilling ot move off sticker. I called down to another dealer that I had met with earlier on another car and indicated that I'd be willing to come by and leave a deposit today if they could guarantee me a certain discount. They told me to come on by. . PM me for details.
