So I have a deposit on an M3 car that's coming in next week and the optional spec is:
Exec Pack,
M Drive Pro,
Park Assistant
Exterior Carbon pack.

Another dealer called me and has the exact same color car coming in next week except it just has the Executive Pack. No M Drive, Park Assist or Exterior Carbon

The second car is $6k cheaper before taxes. The monthly difference in price isn't that much but it adds up over time obviously and I should mention I'm buying the car so maybe the options will make it stand out when I sell it?

I like the sound of the first car but wondering if the options are really worth it. For the money I would have rather had the carbon buckets over the carbon exterior if I had optioned it myself but I'm impatient and need a car now

I think the car comes as standard with parking sensors but the 'park assist' actually parks the car for you and drives the wheel.

You know I should probably just take the first car for that alone as my wife can't parallel park very well so that's the decision made

3-D cameras are bundled into parking assistant package FYI. Without that you just get the back up camera.

Yeah the cameras in the park assist package are well worth it. The sensors are good enough but the cameras are better. I would take the car with park assist and carbon pack for sure.

I say the first car, get what you want. Down the line if you got the 2nd car, you're going to wish you had the extra options you would've ordered.

Right, but it sounds like it also provided the 3D surround view, parking lines, backup camera, etc… not just steering wheel assist. So not just camera-less sensors, but video & magic

If you wanted ANY component from the package, it’s worth getting it from the factory. IND individually lists prices from the package and it’s pricey.

What's the color? the carbon exterior parts standout in light & medium colors but it's not worth it on dark colors like black, Dravit or Tanzanite in my opinion.

The parking assist package as everyone pointed out includes the 360 cameras which is neat

I don’t get it how can 6700$ worth of accessories not change payment very much? Has to increase payment by at least 225$ /month ?!

It's not a lease...60 months finance. More like $100 a month roughly and a lot less with a down payment

Even if it was a lease I don't think it'd change it much

LOL, my wife doesn't drive my M cars because I order them with 3 pedals.

I did not know that, thanks!

My car actually has the PA option, which I would not have ordered, but it came off the lot. It will arrive today.

The wife will get ticked-off the first time she sees me park with that thing. Her little M240i doesn't even have blind spot monitoring, which annoys her.
