Mine still stuck for over a week in waiting carrier assignment… called Genius again and I was told the car was still waiting to be taken to the port and if the car was on the ship he would have the info, but the system indicated no records… the wait continues

Called my SA today and I was informed that my car is at the port waiting for a boat, along with five other M3s for his dealership.

My week 46 car landed at US port on the 19th. Got to the dealership today and will be picked up tomorrow or Saturday.

Posting so others can expect updates for their car.

Got a word from my CA today and after some digging, BMW informed him that the delay was the lack of open shipping lanes at the end of year and they assured the car will be loaded to a ship in the coming week!

Mine still in Waiting for Carrier Assignment since late November.. calling Genius today to see if they have any shipping info.

Man, called Genius today and they had no records of my car leaving the factory. My CA confirmed it and he’s working on finding out more details.

CA told me that his M5 sat there for 43 days… I’m past 45 days now.. the way it’s going I’m not confident that I see my car for a while still.

After 60 days awaiting for carrier assignment, finally moved to “At the port”.

I had started thinking that the car had been stolen at the factory at this point.

Hopefully I will get to see it in a not too far future.

Yeah!! — status changed to In Transit this morning! -

NOTE: for some odd reason the rims and calipers are not shown correctly. I believe it to be BMW site glitch as other cars in my garage also show wrong rims… checked with my CA and my order is correct and this is a possible and another issue with the my garage site
