Best of luck! Hopefully no more delays, but if there are I’m sure you’ll document them well!

Thanks! Luckily the car is already at PCD... at this point the only thing that can delay me is a canceled flight the day before

People are documenting order to delivery timeline in this discussion (not order to allocation).

I am “stuck” at 111 (have production number) since February 7 - two weeks. I assume that is normal?
Is Aventurin Red considered an Individual color by BMW?

Thanks!

I have been wondering the same thing.. I wouldn’t think it is considered an individual color. I went with SG. Got a production number at the same time and still waiting as well. I ordered the carbon exterior package, which I had read there were delays with. Not sure if that is cause for the delay, or this is just a normal wait time.

Weird thing is that if you look at on-line build, Dravit Grey and Tanzanite have a little asterisk next to it saying it may take additional 10 weeks but Aventurin or Frozen colors don’t have the same note.

I did not get Carbon Exterior.

Let’s hope it starts moving soon

You can request your build week info from your CA or Genius and that will give you an idea.

AR is not a true individual color which needs to go through additional request and approval process.

Just ordered a manual m3 last Friday.
They told me about 5-8 months until delivery. Does that seem about right ?
I’m in Florida.

It's incredibly variable, but the high end of that is right in line with my specific experience in IL.

Put deposit in late October, got allocation early February, which moved into 112 (scheduled for production) last week, and is supposed to be complete the week of April 10th. I think that means it'll get to me in the late May, early June timeframe.

That's right around 8 months, though there's about a 6 week delay in there from the Individual color. So in theory I might have gotten it in 6-7 months if I'd gone with a standard color.

To begin with, do you have an allocation or on the dealer waitlist.

No they didn’t have any allocations for m3s yet. I think I was number 2

You might take weeks or even months just to get to your allocation and more information on the below thread.

https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1997584

After you get your allocation, you might face several manufacturing and logistic delays. So any timeline at this given point doesn't mean anything and you might have to take one step at a time.

Major delays: Not sure if this counts but the only real delay I faced was with the Performance Center delivery date confirmation, ending up having to wait an additional 4 weeks, after the factory received the car, due to Performance Center deliveries high demands.
