When I ordered my F83 a few years ago, there was a som non public Individual options. I learned about it on the board ordered Amaro full leather with leather dash. At that time, it wasn't an option on the site. I had to call the dealer and he had to speak the the local BMW rep about adding the options.

I was going to go with an individual paint, but I decided I don’t want to have to wait that long. Ordered Black Sapphire over Fiona Red.

Me too. if my car also had the individual color, I guess I would had it in spring 22.

To be clear, mine is scheduled for week 48 (as of today), as it has been delayed several times even with the normal paint

Someone on here was going to try and get individual stitching on the interior. Not sure if it ended up getting approved.

Given the delays in production I wonder if they even have the appetite for approving anything more than an individual exterior color at this point?

I don't see why not, as long as the customer was willing to pay and be on indefinite wait status.

Are BMW performance parts still a port installed option? Exhaust price?

I was interested in adding leather to more surfaces than the full leather interior offers, through Individual Manufaktur (center console, perhaps lower door panels). But I simply couldn’t get a price quote from BMW USA, even though the catalog had pricing in Euros. I finally gave up waiting, as I had to finalize my specification before the car was scheduled for production.

Another “hmm..” is the 2021 Manufaktur catalog has more leather coverage offered for the G20 than the G80. Chalk that one up, I guess, to the latter not on the market (at time of publication) long enough.

Yes, you can get the M perf parts installed at the port. There has been a full list of the port options floating around here somewhere.

I believe places like GetBMWParts have listed the M perf exhaust for around $7,800.

Not sure if it's available via the individual manufaktur program but I know IND can do it. I've asked them about it in the past.

Like Individual and Individual paints (Tanzanite vs. Voodoo Blue), there's Individual Manufaktur and Individual Manufaktur. There's a catalog of items you can customize, for which they've scoped and priced (like adding black Merino leather to lower door panels). Then there's stuff that's truly customized to an individual client (like trimming the cabin in client-specified or -provided wood veneer, or upholstering the leather in a dye-to-sample color, or building a pistol case into the center rear armrest. The work might take months .. or longer. And the price quote should come with smelling salts. Individual Manufaktur is kind of a money-no-object proposition.

So yeah, you could have BMW dye the seat belts in any color you like .. or have IND do it for a fraction of the cost.

I would love to get Mexico blue seat belts for my interior. Ideally, Mexico blue with the M striping. That would be amazing!!
I didn't know IND did seat belts…although I'm not surprised. Im going to have to add this to my list of questions for them. Anyone get custom seat belts from IND??

Only thing I requested was Piano Black interior trim and my dealership is worried about the ability to get that on my order....Does anyone really think that a interior trim that's "individual" is just as hard to get as requesting individual paint?

No, it's not as hard to get as individual paint because they do the individual paint in batches. You should be ok.

I remember seeing that custom stitching costs $1400, but can only be done with full black leather. That actually is not that bad a price considering it changes the stitching in the entire interior.

Porsche offers different belt colors for around $500 as part of almost any build. If it is close to that might be worth it.

Does anyone have any idea how hard it is to change dealt belts later (in case I have to go the IND route)?

What is everyone being told on wait time for individual paint? Probably should get chatting with my SA. I need to narrow down a build first. Still stuck between 6MT & xDrive....really wish there were some around to test drive.

Mine was bumped about 4 weeks due to individual paint.

Next batch individual paint is week 2, but it's going to depend on timing of your allocation

The two individual items I requested were (1) Paint - Mexico Blue and (2) Polar Blue stitching on a full black leather interior. The paint was approved; the stitching was not. I informed the dealer that I would go with any blue stitching that BMW would approve. Stitching denied. I subsequently requested the M3 seatbelts for my Pure edition; denied. Going individual is not merely a check the box and write the check. Also, my dealer is the largest volume individual order dealership in Atlanta. Good luck to everyone -- hopefully your requests get to BMW on a "yes" day!

My CA mentioned Week 2 for start of production for my individual paint order. However, Genius told me Week 48 when I called last week.

That's exactly what I requested! I had difficulties with the stitching too. Ended up going with the normal, full black leather interior and Mexico Blue.

I am going to reach out to IND about getting some Mexico blue seat belts and the M performance wheel to jazz up the black interior.

What color combo did you end up going with interior and exterior? What build week? My Mexico blue is confirmed for week 50.
