Ventilated Seats - Get them again?

For owners of an M3 or M4 with VENTILATED SEATS only...

Would you get them again based on your experience with the ones in your current M3/M4? Yes or no, and why?

From everything I've read, people say they are ok, but not great. Meaning they provide reasonable airflow to help keep you dry, but they are not as effective as similar seats in other brands. Do you agree?

About 10 years ago I owned an Audi with them and they helped a lot with that cars black leather interior in the warmer months. But I haven't driven an M3/M4 with them so I don't how useful they are in this platform.

I'm NOT interested in the carbon seats so suggesting those instead is not helpful to me. I know, I know, they're great for spirited driving, better resale, etc. but this will be a daily driver for myself and my wife, from time-to-time, so ease of ingress/egress is a much higher priority. Really just trying to determine if the VENTILATED SEATS option is worth looking for or ordering on the M3/M4.

Thanks in advance!

I asked this question a month ago in a different thread. It seems like the consensus was "not great, but better than nothing, and for the price probably worth it"

For the price I don't understand why you wouldn't get them.

Anything to reduce swamp-ass is worth it to me... but depending on where you live YMMV.

I would order them again, $300 is a very nominal fee, but I don’t feel they’re very effective, and I use them all the time here in SoFla.

Absolutely. Like others said, $300 is cheap and there's zero downsides to having them.

For 309 bucks, why not. I didn't option them because I had them in my previous 7 series cars and my last F01 they were not that great and my car rarely is outside for a extended time. I'd get them if I get another g80 just for resale.

Yes. Agree w/ the general observations and you’ll feel them doing something, even if minimal.
