Great to see #42'ers all getting their cars. It's been a long wait but worth it! Mine is finally home after a week's vacation at the dealership while i was away for work in Vegas. Loved the drive home, next stop is PPF/ceramic on Tue and winter tires/wheels next weekend. I look forward to enjoying her this winter

It's crazy that week 43 cars are coming to port and week 39 cars are still sitting at Baltimore waiting on RAM. My car must be buried all the way in the back.

RAM stop sale limbo? Must be VPC specific, NJ VPC cleared the RAM stop sale wait list, by the time my car arrived there was no stop sale. I would call BMW NA daily and ask them WTF is going on.

They are as useful as tits on a bull. Baltimore is the worst offender when it comes to clearing stop sales.

Just got off the phone with genius and they say it should be to my dealership by the 12th. They said it's scheduled to leave the port on the 11th. I asked if that time frame is inclusive of the RAM stop sale and they said yes. Keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath. We'll see!

It could take that long but it most likely won’t. What I’ve been seeing based on the forums is it stays at the port about ten days then gets shipped out. I’m also in the Bay Area and was told I should expect it to arrive sometime next week.

I got pretty much the same info. Most of us should have our cars by end of next week!!

my bday is on the 19th, so that would literally be the best bday present i've ever receieved if that happens.

i also never leave the dealership without getting something for free lol. Whether its a hat, a bag, a shirt, i dont care. Usually i go with a hat, but i think I'll go with a carbon fiber license plate frame this time. i got a duffle bag from range rover earlier this year and that's by far the best item ive ever got for free from a dealership.

What have you guys seen with VPC times lines? Mines is cutting it really close for PCD before EOY. Its at the port Charleston just hoping I don't have to head there in Jan.

mine has been at port since 12/03, so i dont have much of an update for you. A few guys have had theirs at the port for a month in NJ. I'm out of California, so idk if that makes a difference.

Not to burst your bubble, but the only chance of getting PCD yet this month is by filling a last-minute cancellation, after any stop sales for your car have been resolved. (The Performance Center is closed the last week of December, to boot.)

Over 3 weeks ago I read on here that another forum member snagged the last December delivery slot. Less than two days later my stop sale case closed, and my dealer put a full-court press to secure me a December delivery date. The Performance Center allegedly 'made room' on the one day they could; I took the date they offered me.

That said, other forum members have either had to cancel their PCDs or received delivery dates resulting from others' cancellations. You might get lucky -- hope you are!

BTW, my case (RAM retrofit) was only open 10 days at the Greer VPC.

Hopefully I just get process right through as I do not have any stop sales. I've been checking both sites daily and confirmed with both my CA and Genius that I am in the clear really hope it is true...
