I may start a thread to clarify this issue, not only with JB4, but with other piggyback systems, since I want to know as well.

I've done 100+ 60-130 Dragy runs(including on ethanol) and can confirm the car runs the fastest on efficient. Not as much testing on 1/4 mile since mine is RWD manual but you cannot use LC on efficient mode. Must be on Sport+ for both auto and manuals.

Don't forget that back in the day with RaceLogic boxes -2.0% was standard. And, I'm sure it's still accepted on like 6speed forum in the master list.

Hi
Finally a proper ECU tune, just the 91 OTS map from Bootmod3. I have JB4 too but it was disabled (map 0). Need to improve the shift from 3rd to 4th. Still it's a good baseline. I hope to have the custom tune soon. This is slow compared to what other GX are doing with E50, but still I think it's good for this map. Mods: Catless DP and Front Mounted Intake (BMS). |

What do you think you're pushing to the ground? Also, is yours a AWD or RWD?

Did you flash it yourself or through a shop? I'm so tempted to send my ECU to Femto myself and flash it via BM3. The only tricky part will be removing the ECU I guess

The flash was done at home, first with my laptop and then with my Android Phone. You only need the Femto unlock. Removing the ECU is easy though, there is a vid in YT from RK Tunes on how to remove it. The hard part are the two plastic clips behind, but you can squeeze your hand and use your fingers to pull them up. I am a bit disappointed with these runs, I was expecting low 8s, not high 8s, but my shifting is in part to blame, these cars (manual) have very long gears, so either you start at second gear and shift just at 60 mph or start in third gear at 40 mph with no boost and hope to build boost by 60 mph, then the shift in the middle. Maybe a custom tune would target 24 psi or so and more aggressive timing, I'll wait for that. Edit: Does anyone knows what is the stock boost target for the base and the competition? From what I read is 15~16 psi for the base and 18~19 psi for the competition, can someone confirm or correct? |

Would you mind providing a link to said RK Tunes video? Had a look at YouTube but could not find it. Alongside the shifting, I think you will notice a substantial difference going 93 octane if that is possible in your area Surprised stage 2 BM3 is only 22 psi! I think competition is 16/17 psi if I am not mistaken, I'm fairly positive it's not as much as 18 or 19 but someone can correct me if wrong EDIT: Nvm found the video: PS: MHD OTS maps look really good too, made by PureBoost and promise around 700 flywheel hp on their stage2

Just for fun while my track tires were still on I got them warm and did two 3.63 0-60s and a 7.16 0-100.
Racechip in map7 Psi midpipe Bms intakes 93 octane
