When he first got this car the first thing he did after leaving the dealership was abuse the hell out the car. I know he's a tuner but he seems reckless to me

The car is tuned via a piggy back for the port injection as well as the JB4 from what I heard in the video. Granted I was trying to multitask at the same time, so I may be wrong...

I think he hinted at he will be giving away that very same car in his give away (makes sense to drop it while it's hot after he just beat the living piss out of it pre-break in). Good luck to the next owner!

There are varying philosophies on break in. This has been going on since I first came to BMW in 2001. His approach is nothing new.

There's obviously a break in with the G80/82 because the dealer requires you to return for fluid changes at 1200 miles. He was doing burn outs and going crazy on the car non stop. A few pulls is understandable but that wasn't all he was doing

I see a huge dip in power around 4.5K rpm, how does that affect driving?

With the limited traction and a MT, this car even with all that tune this G80 will be slower in everyday driving compared to AWD G80

But I guess it's good to see people testing the limits of the new platform, and trying to get around locked ecu
